I was looking for this product in my local grocery store and I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm glad that I was able to purchase it on Amazon. So I have already cooked it and used it in a salad. The taste was good, nice and healthy, and high in protein, just what I needed for eating healthy.

So I came to Amazon. I was looking for farro to add on top of my salads. This stuff is perfect. Adds a delicious, chewy texture and pairs well with olives and feta. Easy to cook up the night before if your tight on time during the workday.

This is four stars only because I have nothing with which to compare it. I tried the farro based on a comment by Lidia Bastianich about substituting it for barley or small pasta such as ditalini or acini di pepe in soups. I found it a delicous, even preferable, starch to use in a couple of soups I have made using it. I retains its texture better than the barley or pasta when refrigerated in the soup of a few days. It imparts a pleasant wheaty flavor in the mouth while eating the soup. If you are looking to change up your tried and true soup recipes, purchase a package of this. Like me, you are certain to come back for more.

A very nice product… When cooked up held its shape perfectly without being too firm or too mushy. Highly recommend.

Pricey but very tasty. Suggest cooking in broth instead of plain water

I keep ordering this because I love it and it is really good for you. I add it to side dishes and desserts to give extra texture. Its nutlike mild flavor goes with everything.
