This can be adjusted under tension. Been climbing industrial for 7 years and this is the best one hands down.

used this for my sailboat
I used one of these to scale my sailboat mast. Worked very well and I felt secure and safe.

Just FYI
In this type of buckle, both metal pieces are usually in the same loop and make contact. Here, the small metal clip is in the second larger loop. If you pull up on the outer loop, it lifts the retaining clip and releases the foot strap. Maybe that's a desirable feature for mountain climbing, but I wouldn't climb a tree with it. If the loop snags, the foot strap could release on accident. Not saying it's good or bad. It allows the foot strap to be released under tension. I don't like it, and that's not shown in the product photo, but someone else may consider that a good thing. Think it through before you buy. Otherwise, it's well built.

Well made and good price. My climbing friends tell me this is good brand. My problem with them occurred when accending agsinst a wall. Loops would work off my feet. Had to stop mid way, replace Loops and retighten onto feet. This was my first ascend and problem could be related to my Technique. One of the other guys using a petzl foot ascender had same issue.

Very usable.
Using as part of sailboat mast ascender rig. Great for that use. Single foot loops might not be as practical for rock work, but I'm happy with them.

Good Value
Very good value at $20/ea. It is certainly strong enough for half the weight of one person. As described the carabiner in the photo is NOT included.
