Dries fast
I’ve been using Krylon Short Cuts paint for over 10 years. The thing I like about it, is the drying time. Since it’s lacquer, it dries fast.I’ve been using paint for over 50 years. I know all kinds.Make sure you thin it with lacquer thinner from time to time. It keeps it flowing. The color I’m reviewing is Red Pepper SCB-005.But I have all the colors.

Liquid Silver
I liked how easy it was to use craft brushes to paint hardware in my bathroom on 2 cabinets that were gold to make them match the silver look of all other hardware. I had two pearl handles with metal that are stunning now. I did not wish to try and replace them but you really need to be cautious when using this stuff as it is drippy....less is best!

Good touch up paint.
I like the Krylon Short Cuts Brush-On Paint that I bought. It is top grade for important jobs. I had a problem though with the shipping and packaging of my two small bottles of paint that I had ordered. When I opened up the cardboard box that contained them I saw that some of the (steel colored) paint from one of the bottles had leaked out and was still wet and tacky. I think that the shipper of these mini paint bottles should use precautions such as wrapping adhesive tape around the caps ahead of time—something that Costco Wholesale does to their bottles of fruit juice before they are shipped out to their customers. This would prevent the caps from coming undone during the shipping process.

This doesn't really smell like paint. In fact it doesn't really have a ...
Shake this very well. I bought this to go over the worn out hot-stamped chrome of my dashboard. I have a 1979 Datsun 620 pickup, and the chrome trim (and lettering) on the instrument cluster bezel has worn off over the years. I gave the area a quick scrubbing with alcohol to degrease after cleaning, and got this handy little pen out. This doesn't really smell like paint. In fact it doesn't really have a smell at all, or at least I can't really smell it. It dries within seconds when it's warm out and in the sun. The pen tip is spring loaded so you push (kind of like liquid highlighters) to get the paint into the tip. Too much and it drips. Not enough and your coverage sucks. You'll find that sweet spot pretty quick, this pen is super easy to use.I re-did the chrome striping on my dash in 10 minutes, including the alcohol prep. Be very careful, and don't let the paint get too heavy or it'll dry weird. You're best to just go over it once and let it dry, then go over it again. This way the paint is more 'level' and it will take on a better 'chrome' look. This is a very fine silver paint, not chrome. Don't get confused, there is a massive difference. But unless you're looking at a brand new chrome piece next to this, 99% of people won't know if you do a really good job.Cleans up with rubbing alcohol, this stuff isn't meant to withstand the ages.I think if you purchased some matte clear (or gloss clear if you're ballsy), you could go over the entire dash piece - and this chrome pen - and it would last for years as long as the clear doesn't fail over the plastic.I was also successful in re-doing the Datsun badges for the glovebox on my 510, and even fixed a nick in the chrome on a window crank handle. For <$10 shipped, don't complain. It's two digits cheaper than sending your part off to get chromed.

Watery useless but expensive paint
This product arrived without a seal. The teeny tiny bottle is way too small for the price. I knew that but thought if it got the job done then I would buy it. The paint is extremely thin, like water. It would take at least 10-15 coats to paint something because it’s so watery. Very annoyed that I can’t return it because it’s hazardous. If it was that hazardous then why did they ship to me without any seal? I was going to use this for a project but it’s a total and complete waste of time and money.

Chrome, not Chrome
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the chrome to repaint the foot bars on my chairs. The paint is nice, however, it’s not chrome. It comes out as a flat matte silver color, not a mirror finish chrome, which is not at all what I was going for.
