Is a good size and quality chess set for the standard player that likes to take it's chess on the road. We use it for several camping and vacation trips as our battle set. You can play anywhere with this. We like and prefer the tournament size compared to any other portable chess. Is durable and easy to carry on a tube with a handle. The blue frames on the board are a refreshing look. we like it a lot!

Nice set - vinyl board - properly weighted and sized pieces for academic and tournament play. Extra queens are a nice bonus. Board and pieces fit in the bag. I prefer the blue board to the green boards, but that's just me...

Very nice. It has “US Chess Federation” stamped right on the board. The standard size is bigger than I thought. I like that. There are no stains or paint smears. The pieces have no plastic flack. It comes with a carrying case.

Perfect Christmas gift for my brother. Super convenient for travel. Pieces are very nice, smooth, and durable. Would recommend for casual chess players that are getting back into chess and veterans that play often.

Exactly what I expected. My 9 year old plays in chess tournaments, now she has her own personal Chess federation set. Which she can travel with, and play when she's on a break from her Chess tournaments.

Purchased to take along on a trip instead of a rigid board. The vinyl board is very sturdy, does NOT smell as some reviewers have mentioned. The pieces are of a quality much higher than I expected; they are kept in a zip lock bag X2 so they don't move around in the quiver. The fabric quiver is a good size and holds all pieces well; it seems very durable. I would buy again and recommend for people who travel.

Have had this set for quite some time. Home, park and tournament play. Pieces are large and carry enough weight to hold during park play in light wind. Carry case makes travel easy and quick.
