Yale Smart Safe - Wi-Fi Safe for Secure, Keyless Access

The Wi-Fi feature makes access convenient, and I rest easy knowing my valuables are secured in this smart safe.

Bought this safe and tried for 2 hours to set it up before I finally called yale customer service. The green light on the lock flashed all the time and the safe could be opened and locked again by simply touching the check mark button. Customer service said it was defective. After about 4 or 5 emails asking for photos, videos, and a bunch of other things I simply asked amazon for a replacement. They sent it in 2 days.No it's time to set up the new safe. Does the exact same thing as the other. No way I could have received 2 defective units... so I tried and tried for another 2 and a half hours before I finially broke down and called customer service again. I was on the phone with them for 1 hr and 15 minutes trying to set up the safe. They could not get it to work again. I'm going to try to return this one I don't have a box but hopefully amazon takes back this garbage. I ordered another brand which I should have done in the first place. Avoid this junk at all costs.

This is a nice safe in this price range. We have several handguns and normally we have them easily accessible in nightstands, coffee table etc, but when we have out of town guests, gatherings, or repairmen over, we’ve been locking them up in the large basement safe. Not really convenient when you have them for safety. This fits under my bed but allows me to store them safely so no one gets curious and has an accident. Also makes them easily accessible if needed. Also able to store our passports, some cash, and a few other small items. I like that I can use Siri to unlock, but if the HomePod picks up the request instead of my phone, it sends a pop up to my phone. This prevents just anyone from being able to open it with our HomePods. The app made it easy to set up, and after adding it to the Yale app, it prompts if you’d like to add it to HomeKit. Within 5 minutes, I had it set up, with a code, and was good to go. Also added it to Alexa, but that integration isn’t as smooth, it loses that connection sometimes even tho the HomeKit connection remains. Overall I’m quite happy with this Wi-Fi version and think it’s a great investment,

I almost gave this a four star review instead of five, but my problem was fixed. This is a nice safe and the Wi-Fi feature with the app is a nice touch. I had trouble with the code getting excepted for my personal code and the bluetooth feature wasn’t working, but called customer service And after getting hung up on the first try, the second person was wonderful. They help me figure it out and reset my system and safe and everything worked out great. My wife was at work and I told her to use her app to open the safe and she was able to open the safe from her work, so it’s nice if you need somebody to get in your safe and you don’t want to give them the code. It’s fairly easy to set up even though I had trouble setting it up. There’s a 10 minute window you have when you put the batteries in and I think that is the key, you have to set everything up in that window. If you don’t you might have to factory reset to get it to work properly , but that being said this is a great safe and I would highly recommend for the price.

This is a lightweight safe with a shelf, perfect for papers, jewelry or handguns. It is portable so it is better to secure it so that it cannot be lifted and carried away. Easy set up, you can allocate more than one owner and guests with separate codes. You can track to see who has accessed the safe. That function is not really helpful for me but I can see it would be for those who have multiple guest accounts. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly and securely or the door will not open. I like the fact there is a connection for a 9 volt battery under the handle so you can open the door if the batteries go out. There is also a key you can use if necessary. If you have problems with setup there is a troubleshooting guide online. This is a well made safe and the app is easy to use. I give it 5 stars.

I am not a happy customer. First it come with internal shelf attached by wire - and in transport it fall off - so there are starches and dents inside.Secondly overall smart feature is not good. It ask you to register on their website - you can remotely open and get a log. However I managed to make WiFi work only for a day - after that there was not way to set it up again. BT works only if you are close to safe and if someone press a button.This is not something I can recommend!

This thing is a ROYAL POS. I didn’t go with WIFI because I am retired & divorced. I just need to get in this thing very rarely, but if you can’t lock the damn thing from jump, what’s the use?I know my Yale products, I have installed several locks on my Airbnb doors as well as my own home.They were a BREEZE. One WiFi module went out, I called in & they shipped me a brand new one IMMEDIATELY & since it’s been perfect & flawless, save eating batteries like roseanne eats pills.One GREAT idea for this thing:⚓️BOAT ANCHOR⚓️

You can lock and unlock the safe remotely, receive real-time notifications, and even grant access to family members, friends, or housekeepers.The safe also comes with a keypad and keyhole, providing multiple ways to access the contents inside. You can create up to 100 unique PIN codes, making it easy to share access with multiple people.
