As is clear from the photo on the listing they are not 1" x1" x 1" as the listing states (not helpful information especially if you are looking for a particular minimum length).For your general information they are 8" long.My calipers appear to have died so I couldn't get a measurement that way, but using the ol' measuring tape they are ~ 3.5 mm wide, or ever-so-slightly over 1/8in in width. This is roughly the diameter of the sticks.Please see the attached photos for illustrations of these measurements.The first photo is one of these sticks next to a standard bamboo food skewer.The second is the same, only both types of sticks are on top of a measuring tape to show the measurement of their widths (for further comparison purposes).The third shows these stick's length via the measuring tape.I wanted something thinner than the standard bamboo food skewers out there, and these fit that bill.Bamboo food skewers are ~5mm in width. Well, just a smidge under that.Yes, these sound like tiny numbers that don't make a difference but for some craft use-cases a couple of millimeters, or even one millimeter, can make a difference in their usability or effectiveness.Just know they're thinner and less sturdy than standard bamboo skewers (and probably not made of bamboo, but a softer wood).Because they are machined so very thin they also aren't perfectly straight, there's some warp and bend there...but the thicker bamboo ones aren't perfectly straight either. This kind of imperfection is to be expected when a soft material that has been cut down so thin and long. How they are packaged, stored and transported long differences will make a difference in how much they are warped by the time they get to the consumer, and these appear to have been handled pretty logically.Hope this review helps some others answer the same size questions I had before I bought these.Cheers!

Good wooden sticks! Not as long as skewers! Some has defects; using for centerpieces so threw those away.

Smaller and thinner than exlected but overall satisfied. Will buy again. Delivery was misleading as it stated "handed directly to resident wjen in fact, not true". I know delivery has nothing to do with seller or product.

Worked great for center pieces I made

The description says "Natural wood", which I am looking for. What I received are typical cheaps bamboo sticks you can find at a dollar store for a buck.For a comparison, I posted side-by-side pictures of this product and the real wood dowels I already have.
