The Horse Encyclopedia (DK Pet Encyclopedias)

Very comprehensive and thorough book about horses. An excellent reference covering pretty much any horse topic including their digestive system, skeletal system, etc. wonderful pictures. Got it for granddaughter but husband wanted to keep it for our library because it was such a nice book.

We like the way the book is layedout. The pictures are very beautiful, with just the right amount of Information.

I love this book! I had a version of it growing up and bought it for myself recently when I was feeling nostalgic. It is filled with amazing photos and great information about breeds. It's a good gift book or a book for people wanting to learn about breeds, I mostly just want to look at the pictures!

This is a beautiful big book about everything horse! The information is comprehensive and the photos are beautiful. The only thing I noticed that was wrong was in the copy. Maybe it was written with artificial intelligence or did not have a good editor. Sometimes entire paragraphs were repeated almost verbatim. Regardless of the repetitive copy, there is plenty to appreciate it this lovely book.

The person I gave this too is extremely involved with horses and she was very happy to receive this book.
