Update - so I ended up returning the car seat😭. As soon as I posted my review, she started complaining about the airplane buckle felt through the back. The headrest also put my toddler’s head in an awkward forward position. We may have pushed through for short trips but we live far from family so this ended up not working.********I bought this seat specifically for airplane travel. It fits perfectly in narrow seats, even with the arm rests down. The seat is nicely padded but you can feel the buckle through the back when forward facing, although my toddler has not complained. Really light weight, making it easy to move from terminal to terminal. It fits well on this collapsible dolly I bought. Very happy!

These are amazing! I just ordered 2 and they were easy to set up and install.- The fabric feels quality and easy to clean.- The latches are super smooth but not too easy that a child could open (I can do it one-handed which is huge for having 3 under 3).- The install was NOT bad! Did it take a little brain power? Yes, but so has every other car seat I’ve ever owned, and once I figured it out, these card seats were in there soooooo snug! Very stable- Removal was also easy because the releases are made super well!- Weight-wise, these are pretty light compared to my Graco convertible seat- I looked up safety ratings and these ranked equal to the graco convertible seat they my oldest is in!

This seat is plush and cool, so my kids are very comfortable in it. The materials are great, the size is perfect, the safety ratings are reassuring, and the price is amazing! This is a bare bones seat, though. It has no convenience features like an easily adjustable no-rethread harness, or a level so you angle is correct. However, that is reflected the VERY affordable price (about $85) The only issue I have with this seat is that it is a huge pain to install it correctly and securely in a rear facing orientation, especially if you have deeply contoured seats.PROS:- Great rear facing height and weight limits- Higher forward facing weight limit than almost any other seat in this price range, allowing your bigger kid to stay in a harness longer. My 4 year old is almost 45 pounds, so this 65 pound forward facing limit will allow him to stay on a harness for a few more years, until he is ready for a belt positioning booster.- Relatively compact size, with straight sides that make it easier to fit next to another seat.- Comfortable, cool fabric. Won't absorb heat like a dark seat if you live somewhere hot.- Plush seat!- Machine washable cover.- Cute styling! I got the aqua blue for both my son and daughter and they love it.- Easy forward facing install.- Lightweight and easy to carry for travel.CONS:- Difficult to get a tight installation rear facing.- Does NOT fit 3 across in a Jetta.- Tedious to rethread the straps and adjust the headrest.- The button you have to push to loosen the straps is buried under the cover and not marked, so it isn't easy to find and use.All in all, this is a great basic seat for the money!I use them as travel seats and back ups in our second car. This seat won't work well for someone who needs to use it for different children, as it must be removed from the vehicle to adjust the headrest and strap heights. It also wouldn't be ideal if you were going to be moving it from one car to another frequently, as the install isn't as quick and easy as it is on models with more convenience features. But it's safe and sturdy and does its job, and you really can't beat it for this price!

It looks just like the photos, it’s soft on the inside and looks really nice and expensive!

This is such a streamlined Car seat, love it for my granddaughters. It is comfortable and easy to carry and install from Car to car. The price is great too. I'm getting another so I can take both girls and not have to use the bulky one from when they were still babies.

This is extremely difficult to install rear facing in some vehicles (our truck and our SUV with bench seating)- we ended up getting different car seats because it was so frustrating. We had missed the return window and found that it is easier to install rear facing in bucket seats (grandmas suv) and very easy to install forward facing in any vehicle, and works great for that (when your child is big enough). It is slim yet very comfortable, and lightweight making it good for travel (I can’t imagine lugging our Britax car seats through the airport… this Cosco seat is much better for that). Because of how difficult it was to correctly install rear facing, I would not recommend this carseat UNLESS you are looking for something forward facing.
