Love these chairs especially if you have neck dystonia. I wear them out every five years

I own a Caravan Zero Gravity Chair, and it is perfect and has lasted me for years. I wanted another one for indoors.The oversized chair gives you the option of not using the arms of the chair which is more difficult to do in the smaller Zero Gravity Chair. Sometimes relaxing means relaxing the shoulders and arms and hands on your lap.They both are the same "other than width". The quality of these chairs are spectacular. My smaller gravity chair ha been sitting outside on my porch with the wind and rain and is still in excellent condition. There is no better Zero Gravity Chair on the Market.

I have found the chair exceedingly sturdy with some of the best construction I've ever seen on a folding chair. It's nothing but powder coated metal in the frame, no plastic or the like. I purchased this for taking on a military mission that I knew would be mostly laid back and stationary. I got a few laughs from the "tough" guys for this big thing, but they stopped laughing when they only had a metal cot and the ground.Unsurprisingly, I never found a time where someone wasn't in my chair and complimenting me on the decision. It was wide enough for a grown 250lb guy in my platoon who was in body armor with weapon to sit in comfortably and recline. Enough width and support.And don't think I was gentle with this thing, had it lashed to a ruck sack where it clanked and repeatedly dumped on the ground. It was thrown in the back of more than a few HMMWV's and after all that, only a few minor cosmetic scratches in the feet.HOWEVER, I hoped I could sleep in this... I technically can, but, Im a person who must sleep on his sides and likes to roll a bit from one side to the other. I found that this does not come close to flat and sleeping on my side was incredibly uncomfortable as a result. I found a few awkward positions that were half comfortable, but they were only suitable for last resorts.If your a person who sleeps just on your back, this is perfect. Anything else and you will hate life.Superb chair!

As far as this chair being oversized is questionable.I'm 6'2 and it felt a little undersized. I would say it would be comfortable for anyone 6 feet or less. This issue alone was reason enough for debating or not to send it back for a different chair, until!In less than a week my chair was barely usable because it would stick/grind/catch when trying to recline. I don't know what happened because it was barely used. The box it came in was beat up, maybe that had something to do with it.I did send back the chair andended up going with the Portal chair which is definitely bigger and obviously easier to recline.

The two major complaints seem to be its weight and its length. 1) Weight. Some say that it is too heavy. Let's face it - you and I would not even look at this chair if we still weighed 180 lbs. When I did, I could have used a light weight aluminum chair. Now, the only way aluminum is going to hold me up, is if it is constructed like my aluminum bike. Add in the additional cost of the thicker tubes, and the chair would be way out of my price range. So, it has to be made of steel. It is not a chair that I would want to drag down to the beach, but for a comfortable reclining chair used in or around the home, it is wonderful. 2) Length. Yes, it is a little short, but the extra length would have made it even heavier. My solution was to take a pool noodle, cut it to length, slit it lengthwise, and slip if over the foot bar ( or whatever it is called). Problem solved. For a big guy, this is a comfortable chair. More importantly, I no longer have to worry about its ability to bear my weight - I feel perfectly safe in it.

This is a replacement for one that I’ve literally left outside all year and used every summer that lasted for nine years. This thing has been frozen solid and buried in snow for months at a time and it was finally the cordage that gave up not the fabric or the frame. I suspect it would have lasted twenty years or more with proper care.

I love this chair! I purchased it so I could go outside and comfortably get a bit of sunshine each day. I'm a chronic pain patient who has had two back surgeries after a car accident. I don't get out much and my vitamin d is low so sunshine it is. I was a little hesitant to spend $60 bucks on a chair I hadn't sat in first, but I'm glad I did. It took me a bit to figure out the best way to get in and out, but I've got it now and I love the zero gravity feeling. It folds up incredibly fast and easy which is nice as I didn't want to leave it out in the yard all the time. It's easy for me to take it out into the yard set it up, get my sunshine and then fold it up and put it back on the porch.

I was looking for a chair for my deck. I wanted to be able to lay back and read, but I didn't want to be flat, or really close to the ground. This chair was exactly what I was looking for! I love the fact that it is adjustable to a variety of positions. I do have some lower back problems, so the zero gravity was a huge plus when comparing similar products. The material is comfortable and the elastic stitching on the sides really makes this one more comfortable than others. I did not necessarily need an over sized chair, but I'm glad I got it, the extra room seems to make it even more comfy. I have spent a lot of time out on my deck in the last few days just enjoying the chair. This was a great purchase and I will be ordering a few more.
