Dritz Large Sewing Basket, Black Sewing Notions

This notions basket has ample space but is still a reasonable size. Features I appreciate are the swiveling handle that easily moves back out of the way, the a magnetic snap to secure the lid, and top tray that has smartly designed organizing sections (though I wish the top tray were a tad deeper). The outer fabric has a fun print and is a fine, smooth weave that doesn't attract dust or dirt. I'm very happy with this purchase and thought it was a good deal. The basket seems sturdy, though I've had it only a couple months. I'll try to remember to update this to comment on how well it lasts.I didn't rate the "For beginners" category because I have no idea what, if anything, might distinguish a notions basket for sewing novices from one for those with some experience, like me, or from one for sewing experts. ;)

I love this basket. It is well made and easy to transport. The inner tray keeps things nicely sorted and is sturdy enough for all my implements, including heavy shears. Great sewing-themed outside fabric, so it is unlikely that it will evaporate to my husband's shop. Highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE this well made sewing basket and it's perfectly sized for my granddaughter who is just beginning her sewing adventures. The closure is magnetic and holds the lid firmly in place. The handle is super sturdy for carrying. A plastic removable tray inside holds all those small but necessary accessories. When the tray is removed, the basket is deep enough to hold everything from her fabric scraps to a generously sized pincushion to projects in progress. There are a variety of prints to choose from, but I chose this design because of the themed sewing notions design on a black field which identifies this basket's sole purpose! Dritz has long been a trusted brand in the industry which most certainly proves true when it comes to quality, durability and price. I have no doubts my young granddaughter will still be using this sewing basket for years to come!

Sewing box is just what I wanted. It is well constructed and holds all the essentials. It gives me one place to store all my sewing notions.

I bought this sewing box to replace my old one and have to say it is smaller than I thought it would be. I wish I could return it but my dog got to it before me and chewed the corner of the box it came in and in doing so also got a small bit of the swing box too. If you’re looking for something small to carry your sewing items then it will be perfect. I gave it 4 stars only because it stated ex large and to me it is small.

I really like this! The inside holds the amount I have. I’m not really a big sewer but I can do a few things so that’s why I wanted one. Used to be in a coffee can. Lol
