4-Pack Lightweight Cotton Swaddle Blankets

I didn't realize just how much we'd love these when i registered for a set before my first baby. They are beautiful swaddles, lightweight and wash up well. We use them nightly to swaddle our July-born baby (they are not too hot), as well as to prop his head up with breastfeeding, cover in stroller, car seat and swing, and lay him on for diaper changes, tummy time, etc. I love them so much I bought another set so I have 8 which is perfect. The rockstar set is much softer than the high seas - I think because of the print. Our baby is starting to be a little tall for the full body swaddle at 6 weeks (11 lb, 24 in) - we just tuck the tail end of swaddle into the swaddle fold as opposed to over the shoulder. He can break out of these swaddles once he wakes up but I'm ok with that as he's in the bassinet right next to me so I can hear him waking as he grunts to bust out :). These keep his legs nice and compact as opposed to the sleepsack which restrains arms better but with his little legs flailing he was always waking up. Some babies also self soothe with hands so it's nice he can get them out if he really needs to. Perfect registry/new baby gift.

Perfect all purpose swaddle blankets! I buy these for pretty much every baby shower I go to. They are large, soft, absorbent. stretchy and work great as swaddles, burp cloths, sun covers, mats, a light blanket, emergency changing pad, anything... Throw it over your car seat when the sun is blazing over the parking lot, and it will keep the seat cool upon your return trip, throw this breathable blanket over your stroller, and give baby some shelter from the sun or help baby take a nap, throw it over your shoulder, and you have a soft burp cloth for baby's head, tuck it tightly under a pnp mattress, and you have a last minute, soft and clean travel sheet that smells like home, hang it outside the pnp to keep out the sun's morning rays or just hide baby from the distraction of mommy and daddy sleeping close by in the hotel room (this one is a favorite). These are also my favorite swaddle blankets as they are so light and breathable - no worries about overheating, especially for summer babies. They are smushy and take up very little space in a diaper bag, despite their size, and they weigh almost nothing. Just Love Love Love. Oh, and the cheaper ones being sold at Target, BBB and Babies R Us, etc. are not the same. They are still good, I have both, but the quality and softness is just not the same. Also, the cheaper ones are smaller in size.

I was hesitant to spend more money on these name brand blankets, but I am SO glad I did. My son sweats like CRAZY in the night and has since he was born. (He is now 4 months old.) I was looking for a swaddle blanket that was breathable, yet LARGE, because my son already weighs over 15 pounds. Every blanket I used was too small, and the bigger ones weren't breathable, and he would sweat like crazy in them. I am in LOVE with these blankets. They are so large that they will comfortably swaddle him as he continues to grow! And they are breathable. So although I wrap him around and around multiple times, the swaddle doesn't feel thick all around him. It is fantastic. Our son never breaks out of these blankets either because we do the "straight jacket swaddle" technique. (Not cruel at all!) Look it up on YouTube if your baby keeps breaking out of the swaddle. I tell you, this technique is amazing! I love how easy these blankets are to wash, and I love how soft they are when they come out of the dryer. These blankets have truly been fantastic. I'm REALLY glad I got four. I always have at least one to use if/when the others are in the laundry hamper. I recommend these to ALL MOMS. This is a really great product.

I just had my 3rd baby. My first, no way he would allow a swaddle and slept beautifully on his back. My second, was small and only liked swaddling from her waist down so you could swaddle her with about anything. My new, adorable bundle of joy absolutely refused to sleep on his back. Initially I gave in to letting him stomach sleep so I could at least get a nap during the day but really wanted to get him to sleep on his back. Everyone said a good tight swaddle would get him to sleep on his back. I tried it and it worked, but, the second he got a little bigger, no blanket could contain this little Houdini. I was on the verge of trying one of the swaddling blankets like the Miracle Blanket but it was sooo expensive for just one blanket that functioned for just one thing. As I read reviews, I came across the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps which had 5 stars and thought, what the heck, I was going to spend that much for just one blanket. The Aden + Anais muslin swaddle wraps are hands down, the BEST blankets and totally worth the money. They are huge but at the same time, any excess you have seems to just fold away without being lumpy. They are soft, lightweight, can be easily layered and man, they hold a swaddle like nothing else. As an added bonus, they come in a variety of patterns- the jungle animals I think are the cutest. If I had it to do all over again, I never would have bought the silly flannel "swaddling" blankets that everyone gives you- they don't hold a swaddle and are best used as burp cloths. I would have bought the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps from the start and plan to buy a set as my "go to" baby gift for everyone from now on!

My baby hates to be swaddled, but these are so great for other uses. They are nice and lightweight and work well over the carseat or stroller to block out the sun, and they are nice just to cover the baby. Very soft and snuggly. The jungle jam prints are super cute and gender nuetral. I went by other peoples recommendations and bought a pack of these and also received a pack from Target as a shower gift. Sure, these are bigger, but the material is the same quality. Both are great. Update 9-8-13 My son is now 14 months and we went from using these to swaddle, to using them as blankets to cover him up at bedtime (nice and lightweight for summer or anytime) and now he can't sleep without having one to cuddle. We send one to daycare and he often has one in the car and drags them all around the house, playing peek-a-boo with them or using them to cover up the dog. They make great security blankets because they are so easy to wash and come in packs of 4, so you always have a clean one. We still rotate all 8 of them that we got as shower gifts. When these wear out/get lost/get too stained or torn, we can just go out and buy a new pack. They are the best.

Super happy with these! The color is true to the pictures. The fabric seems super breathable and like it will last for a long time. Before washing the texture felt sort of like canvas but... Softer? Washing the swaddles definitely softened them and I'm sure they'll continue softening with use. The washing instructions say to hang dry but they didn't shrink in the dryer at all, though the texture of the material changed visually. The colors didn't fade in the wash either. I haven't swaddled my baby in them yet but I'm familiar with this brand and know it's great quality for sure. I'll definitely buy more aden + anais swaddles in the future!

I was given these as a shower gift, and now I give them as a gift for every shower I go to! Mothers like to share good secrets! These muslin wraps really are the perfect swaddler blanket. The blanket is so large (47"x47"), that it makes swaddling extremely easy. What I love, is that it allows you to swaddle the baby tightly but comfortably so they don't move around or roll over. My baby sleeps with her arms out and they wrap around her so nicely. I love that they are breathable muslin, I feel very safe leaving it in the crib with her. I am still using these swaddlers for our daughter who is now 7 months old. I don't know how a smaller blanket (such as a receiving blanket that others use) could work this good. A bonus is that they are extremely soft too! Another use for these large soft blankets are to use them as a cover over the stroller or car seat to block the sun, but at the same time it lets the air through. I have one set aside for outdoor & car use, it goes with me everywhere. A MUST HAVE FOR ALL BABIES. ** My daughter is now 21 month and her swaddle wrap has turned into her "Blankie"- she loves it!**

I could rave about these blankets all day. I'd never heard of them until I received one as a shower gift two years ago for our first baby - I quickly realized these blankets are one of the all-time best baby products ever invented. Absolutely ideal for so many uses: swaddling (they're bigger than typical receiving blankets, stretchy, and so soft), burp cloths when you're in a pinch (absorbent!), a great nursing cover when it's hot outside (breathable and light, but you can't see through them), stroller covers, ground covers when you want to lay baby on the grass...the list goes on and on. My now-2-year-old son is never without his; it's become a security blanket, too. As others have mentioned, they wash so well - they get softer the more you wash them, and don't hold on to stains (two and a half years of daily use by a messy baby-turned-toddler, and his is still pristine white). I love giving these blankets as shower gifts for first-time moms or ladies who didn't have one with their previous babies, and hearing the inevitable raves from the new mom a few months later. :) They are absolutely perfect!!

I wasn't sure about these when my friend told me about them. I thought that they seemed pretty expensive for swaddles!!! But boy was I wrong! I love these muslin swaddles so much that I now buy them for all my expecting friends. They are light weight and breathable. I used them not only for swaddling, but: - as a blanket in the summer when it's sooo hot or layer them if it's colder - lay them on my leather couch if baby happens to be napping in the living room. - shade for our buggy when it's too sunny, but because they are so light and breathable not worried that baby isn't getting air - blocks a light wind too - put them over your shoulder when you're burping your baby - etc I always take at least two out with me and always find I use them! I cannot stress how useful and versatile these are AND let's not forget the wonderful designs they come in. They also wash so well/easily and the color never fades! These are definitely worth the investment. I would recommend to everyone!!!

Great quality size and wear well.
