Let me start by saying I really like Soloman shoes they are my preferred brand
Let me start by saying I really like Soloman shoes they are my preferred brand. I ordered a 13m because it was the only option available in a 13. I know my feet are wide so their a little tight. After 5 miles they fit fine. I ordered this shoe as a walking shoe. I walk 5-10 miles a day on asphalt. These shoes would be awesome under the right circumstances but they are NOT for hard surfaces. The tread is very aggressive, almost like a kleet. These would be great for trail runners. So far I have approximately 30 miles on the shoes and am seeing pretty significant wear on the tread due to extensive use on the asphalt. Again this is my own fault for not properly researching the shoe before buying. I liked what I saw and made a compulsive buy. This review is just to make buyers aware that the shoe is not for hard surfaces. The tread placement puts uncomfortable pressure points and friction spots on your feet, if your using them on a hard surface. However on soil these shoes provide awesome traction and are very light weight and are a great type of shoe in that environment. 3 weeks and the shoes are almost done for. Just from walking on asphalt.

Ive finally worn through the bottoms abut they ars still going strong and just as comfortable as my new pair which I only wear when ...
Hands down the most durable shoes ive ever owned. I have purchased a new pair for hiking because I wore the grip flat on my original pair. I have put have thousands of miles on these on the Appalachian trail, south America and now they are my construction work shoes that just wont break. Ive finally worn through the bottoms abut they ars still going strong and just as comfortable as my new pair which I only wear when hiking because they have grip still. It takes a long ling time to wear the grip off. They have saved my life hiking up to tolima in Columbia and on river gorges crossing house sized boulders. Where they really shine is muddy trail hiking and step terrain. I use them backpacking with 40lb loads and they really preform like the perfect boot I always thought I wanted. I will never wear another brand of shoe and I have hiked half the Appalachian trail and most the trails in pisgah and the smokies with these in pictures that are my construction shoes now. My dad has a pair now and my fiancee! Do not hesitate just buy them!!

What is the explanation of this? I need a response from the seller.
I am very saddened by this edition of the excellent review I had made of these shoes. They look spectacular, they feel very good, but after the third day training one of them (right shoe) began to deteriorate on the outside and took off the paint as if it were cheap and fake shoes ... I do not understand how it happened I do not understand that after training on a regular track they have deteriorated in this way, they are supposedly shoes for mountain training, even? The previous pair lasted 4 years using them every day and in extreme conditions and these new ones within a month and its removed the "paint"? what happened? Could the seller, or Amazon according to their policies, explain this to me? Here is the picture that speaks for itself ... the shoes were not exposed to a fifth of what they should endure! I demand an immediate response please.

SUPER NARROW!
I have average width feet. But since I saw this shoe runs narrow I ordered wide. The wide was WAY WAY WAY too narrow! Im amazed the brand hasnt put a stop to this because the narrow-ness of a WIDE was just too ridiculously narrow, so much so that even if this was a regular and not a wide, it was still too narrow for that. So if you know you have very narrow feet, buy a wide and you might be okay. No one should buy the regular. If the wide is that narrow, I imagine the regular couldn't hold a hot dog!

Far exceed my expectations.
I typically run longer triathlons including Iron Man distance so I run in a typical running shoe. This year after my last triathlon I decided at the last minute to run a 14 mile Spartan obstacle race. Having never ran one or even seeing one, I didn't really think about what I was going to wear for the race until the week of the race. I was reading more details about the race and it kept referring to all of the mud and water and about what gear was best to race in. So I began researching shoes, socks and shorts and found these Salomon Speedcross 4 shoes highly recommended. I ordered them and received them 3 days before the race. I have been running for years and know very well about NEVER changing gear in the days before a race, much less the day of a race but I was pretty sure that running 14 miles of trails that included much mud and water would not be fun my usual running shoes so I made the decision to give them a shot and see what happened. So on race morning I lubed up my feet with tri-glide, slipped on my Hoplite compression socks (which I also found highly recommended) and get ready for the race. Walking around in the shoes, they were very comfortable and stable but once I started the race was when I really got to see why these shoes are so highly rated. When the trail was flat, the fit and feel was very similar to my usual shoes. When I got to the mud, they were awesome! Both entering and exiting each mud pit, mud hill, water feature, pond, creek or you name it, the traction was tremendous. I never slipped or slid at any point (most everyone around me without OCR shoes was slipping badly) and the more confident I became in the shoes the fast I went and still never had any issues. On dry ground, both going up hills and down, I again never slipped. I was passing people left and right on the steep descents because I could grip and they could not. Through the whole race, with at least 7 water crossing, my feet felt comfortable and my traction very secure. It the end of 14 miles and 35 obstacles, my feet were probably the only thing that did not hurt and I credit my Salomon shoes for that.

ESTAFA

Reso eseguito

PROBABLY FITS A KANGAROO! SALOMON SPEEDCROSS RINNING SHOES TOO NARROW
Seriously this brand sucks - and it is even worse for men - Salomon do not understand that men and women's feet are different! Somebody there got gender sized confused! Y chromosome makes these shoes TOO NARROW for about 50% of the population and to prove my point google it: 700 000 hist SALOMON SHOES TOO NARROW - only 1 in 50 complain on the internet or forums - that makes 35 MILLION problems out there so WAKE THE £ UP YOU BAD DESIGNERS! As for gender neutral shoe sizing that only works for stretchy real leather shoes - these are PLASTIC RIGID - go read a science book or a medical book and get real! Men are heavier and have wider feet. Athletic people have wider feet also. Spots shoes need to be wider for that reason - these are running shoes so that makes them for fit(er) people - fit people have wider feet. The shoes are also non stretch so they are PAINFUL! So you tipple failed! I even added an extra 1/2 size and still too narrow. HORRIBLE!
