The directions say "apply liberally" but in my dog's ears what would be considered the right amount of this product?

My vet said to fill the entire ear canal, rub the ears, then move out of the way. Good luck!

I applied daily for about a week, until my pup's ears were completely clean, and he stopped scratching. Now I clean with the solution once a week.

Can this be used regularly (once a month) as part of a grooming routine or should it only be used if your dog has a mild ear infection?
