So let me break it down...

Ok so 1stly, not one to make reviews on stuff but I wanted to share my experience to potentially help anyone on the fence or curious about prolong products especially the transmission additive. So if you have a 09 or newer hemi ram 1500 laramie, the digital gauge cluster gives you oil temp, oil pressure, coolant temp & transmission temperature. So the truck with 180k mi on it at the time, me & dear old dad were headed on a adventure to collect car 2 hours away (astoria or to hillsboro or, hwy 26, from sea level to 1500ft & back down other side). While headed to pick up tow dolly (nothing in tow or in the bed) the trans temp was reading the usual 170 degrees +/-.As we pick up the dolly, I add the trans additive & check all fluids & tire pressure. Hook up & hit the road. While climbing the "mountain pass" I decide to look at trans temp, 130+/- degrees. Whoa, that's noticeably low for the truck, especially towing a empty dolly uphills for an hour. I figured it was a fluke & it was gonna wear off once we got weight on it.Not quite, even while towing on dead ass flat towing a loaded dolly it was never more 140 degrees, and finally the last push up Bradley (return on hwy 30) & thru knapa or, the most it got was 154 degrees! Uphill towing dolly & car... where before it would REGULARLY crest 205 degrees going up Bradley Hill. Now 50 degrees cooler and being put thru the same paces! And still to the day, having done services & filter replacements & continued prolong additive use, not even on the hottest summer day will it crest over 200 degrees. (184 was the most & just recently while towing dolly loaded with 06 crew cab tundra)There's more I could say about it BUT being a skeptic snake oil suspicious individual myself, this is my experience with real numbers showing improvements.Temperature isn't everything, but we should all know & agree that sustained lower operating temp means less fluid overheating, loosing ability to disperse the heat that's generating, heat that's causing more wear metals to cook off into the fluid & clutch material, that's getting caught in filter, stifling flow limiting atf to get around to do its job & keep it cool & lubricated.

Made a legitimate and immediate difference

I had taken my manual Veloster in to get a new door after someone hit me in the parking lot. Once I got my car back it shifted terribly. As a side note I believe this was most likely caused by a technician at the auto shop I took my car to either hot running my car or driving it without knowing how to drive a manual transmission. The gear lever was very notchy and in sixth gear I had to slam it to even get it to go into sixth gear. So needless to say I was pretty worried about it. I had heard of prolong in the past and so I bought it and thought might as well give it a try. I put it in my transmission last night and after I got everything button back up a cycled through the gears with my foot on the clutch and then I took it for a quick trip down the highway cycling through all 6 forward gears and reverse. And I noticed an immediate difference now I'm driving it again today and it still feels better I think it feels better than it did last night so it seems like it may continue to improve my shifting experience. I'm very thankful that I tried this product and I suspect you will be thankful as well. As I'm driving right now cycling through the gears I'm noticing no spots where it feels like my lever is getting hung up I noticing no I'm hesitation as I fully engage the gear It feels more like it's getting sucked into place as opposed to having to force it into place

Worked surprisingly well

04 ram 1500 automatic transmission. I read about someone using prolong in a dodge forum and I tried it as a last resort to fix my hard shifting and disengaging problems and it worked. It shifts very smooth now. I removed 8 oz of trans fluid and poured it in. I will use prolong every time I change my fluid. It’s not a miracle in a bottle but it is very effective

For manual transmissions with mildly worn synchronizers….

I currently drive a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 coupe (6MT), and most of the gears are really notchy, with 2nd gear crunching and grinding sometimes, and 3rd gear locking me out occasionally at high revs. I plan to add this alongside using AC Delco (GM) Synchromesh friction-modified manual transmission fluid. I’m overfilling to nearly ~3.5+ quarts. With only 2.7-3 qts of non friction-modified OEM and other OEM equivalent Synchromesh fluids, I am still noticing crunching and grinding of 2nd and 3rd gear during cold starts/driving. It takes nearly 12-15+ solid minutes of shifting past 2500-3000 RPM, to get the gearbox and trans to properly warm up to proper operating temps.I will update this once I add it to my current mixture of MTF. I am currently running 2 qts of OEM Honda MTF, and 1 qt of AC Delco Synchromesh friction-modified MTF. I plan to fill the rest of the MT with this Prolong MT/AT additive, as well as topping it off with some OEM equivalent 75w80 GL4 MTF made for brass, like Valvoline, Penzoil, or Quaker State Synchromesh.

This additive will blow your mind.

I have a 2010 Hyundai Accent with over 150,000 miles on it. My kids kept telling me to trade it in, but after seeing the price of used cars, I decided to get it painted for $400 and bought new tires for $350. When I was looking for oil for vehicles with over 75,000 miles on it, I found Prolong engine treatment. I read the reviews and decided it was okay to invest a little extra in safety for my engine. I actually felt a nice change. When I looked back at the reviews, I found Prolong transmission treatment and used that as well. That was a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have been amazed because you literally can't tell the shift from first to second or second to third even when I just started it. I plan to take care of the car, but with these products I have no doubt I could use it for an additional 75,000 miles.
