Seems pretty good so far, and it fixed my problem.

I bought this Moog outer tie rod end to fix a wobbly steering problem on my 1994 Mustang GT. The steering was wobbly when I was driving, to the point of being dangerous. So I bought this part and put it on. You will need a puller to get this off, which you can get right here on amazon. Its called a Tie Rod Puller. Some people can get these off with no puller, but on my particular ford this is facing upwards which made that particularly difficult. With the puller, it was a snap. Got it off in no time. Don't forget to install the grease cert that comes with it, on the part. You will need that to be able to grease up the part if you are replacing a factory part that has no grease cert. And, you will need a grease gun loaded with grease. This part did seem to have some kind of grease already in it, but I would not trust that it is enough. When I used my grease gun on it, you could see the rubber boot puff out a little bit as the grease flowed into it. That is what you want to see, but don't overdo it. Just let it puff out a couple of times then you are done. But you will need to come back and grease these every once in a while, lets say about once every 3 or 4 oil changes. They are not sealed parts like the factory parts, the require new grease every now and then. If you want sealed that you never have to grease, I suggest you buy a factory part such as motorcraft (for ford) or AC Delco (for GM) or whoever makes the factory parts on your car. They will likely not need to be greased. But, they may be more expensive. Also, pay the money and get moog or a factory part. Don't waste even more money on those cheapo replacements, there is a reason they are so cheap. All the techs that I know say that the car comes back with more of the same problems when people try to cheap out and buy those $15 tie rod ends and other steering components. This IS your steering people. You might just be taking your life into your own hands with those cheapo replacements.

Good quality parts, fit perfectly.

I bought 2 of these several months ago for my 2004 Ford Mustang V6 and they fit perfectly. My dad and I were able to replace these ourselves (neither of us are mechanics) in our backyard. Rented the puller from Autozone and had them swapped out in about 2 hours. The parts these replaced were original and my car has just over 200,000 miles on it, obviously they were worn out. The rubber boots on the old ones were cracked and torn so of course replacing them has improved my ride significantly.Unlike the original factory parts, these DO HAVE a grease fitting. If course this means you will need a grease gun and some grease and you'll have to add more occasionally but they will probably last better too. Of course, it's all a matter of preference. *If you want outer tie rod ends that you don't have to grease then these are not the parts for you.* If you don't mind a teeny bit of extra maintenance from time to time then these are perfect. Very good quality parts.

Simply best brand for parts

I have been using Moog parts for over 25 years now and rarely have I been disappointed. I cannot say the same about other brands. I bought these tie rod ends to replace the outers on my 2003 Mustang that were failing. Had a creaking and steering issue that were solved by installing these outers and the lower ball joints at the same time. You tend to get what you pay for and why pay more for the store brands from Autozone and others that are inferior in quality.

Better than the original part. Has grease fittings. Fit like a glove.

I love that these have grease fittings. The part looks excellent and seems to be better than the original because the original does not have fittings. Went on smooth. Very good.

Moog superior!

Another top notch part by Moog and as expected, at an UNBEATABLE PRICE by Amazon!! Kudos to Amazon also for the part match check. If needed, THIS is where you buy your car parts! This DOES fit an 04', 40th Anniversary Edition V6 mustang w 3.9L. Precise fit! Better than factory O.E.M parts at 4 times the cost! My "PERSONAL" wish though was that it would have been a sealed unit instead. But still a great part!
