Don’t lose confidence early, product looks better and better after each step
UPDATE: my previous initial thoughts are below. I was not overly hopeful after the application, but after cleaning/neutralizing and scrubbing the color leveled out a LOT. It’s much, much more even. It darkened significantly after sealing (lighter photo is after neutralizing, darker is after 2 coats of sealer) and the only issues I have are likely from my inexperience.I have had some fisheyes come through and brand bold called me and walked me through how to fix it step by step. Looks like despite multiple etchings and mechanical scrubbing to prep I’m still going to need the wax to overcome my crappy decades-old repair shop floor. That’s my issue though, and their customer service has been amazing. I will update once I’m totally done but with their help it’s looking very good.—————I will say the product does etch/stain areas it sticks to. Unfortunately, unless your floor is super flat, it pools like crazy. We did all the prep work as instructed, and our floor is not outrageously uneven, but still ended up with areas of ponding and some areas of almost no treatment.I guess I assumed since concrete isn’t exactly a perfect medium it would be more viscous like other coatings I’ve used but that’s not the case. Not particularly the products fault but just a fair warning to others, if your floor isn’t brand new and perfectly flat it’s near impossible to get this stuff to stay where you want it.

100% garbage from a traidsman. Don't waste your money
Trash. 100% I am a tradesmen all my life have worked with concrete and stains countless times. This product is garbage. It ruined the concrete pad around my swimming pool. O am glad at least I used it at my house and not a paying customer bc I would be demoing out about $5,000 worth of concrete and re-pouring it because the stain ruined it. It now looks like dirty nasty concrete and it's permanent. Was supposed to be Caribbean blue. $200 dollars worth of stain and neutralizer wasted. says 1 gallon covers 200 to 400 square feet my pad is 410 square feet I bought 2 gallons I should have been enough to cover 800 square feet max 400 minimum of concrete.total complete garbage do not waste your time your money or your energy on this product ever. At this point I don't even know what I'm going to be able to do to fix the concrete I either have to grind a couple inches of concrete off the top which is going to weaken and destroy my pad either demo the entire pad of concrete that's been there for 2 years or I'm going to have to paint the concrete which is no good anyway I just I don't like it makes it slippery especially around a pool That's why I went with the stain but this product is 100% garbage. So after about 5 days they tell me I am sol no refund nothing. If y'all buy this mine as well just burn you money just cost me $200 and ruined my $5000 dollar pad. Very sad for American made product.

Great Stain, easy to apply!
I really like this product and recommend it.I apolied the stain over 15 year old exposed aggregate concrete after power washing it and allowed it to dry for three days. The color I ordered was black onyx and as you can see from the photos it certainly didn’t look like anything like that in the liquid form.I really had my doubts as I applied the stain but I remembered they said that the color will not stay the way it looks after you apply it. As you can see from the photos it started to darken and turn into a rich chocolatey brown color. I’m extremely happy with the change and I plan to do the rest of my motor court next year.Sadly I wasn’t able to begin this project until very late in the season and now it’s too late to give a second coat to darken it. I was having new landscaping done and driveways installed so I had to hold off until the end of the season. I will be ordering several more gallons in the spring time to complete the project after winter and spring rains are over. The section I did complete is a bit blotchy because unfortunately it rained shortly after I had completed it. I’m looking forward to completing it next year and will add photos at that time. Good luck!

Updated
UPDATE: I spoke with the company and they made it right. I have updated to 4 stars as it will probably look good for those who want floors that are more inconsistent in color. Also, the company stands behind their product and made it right for me.Easy to apply... does not smell... but my results were horrible. . I used this on new/cured/prepared/exterior concrete and the results were all over the place. Some areas it looked good... but others, it almost looked very blotchy. Some areas, it didn’t event really stain. I was looking for a consistent stain across the whole floor.I wish I could get my money back... but I am going to have to figure out a way to fix this mess.

Be aware! Gray is BROWN & Taupe is WATERED DOWN BLACK
My bigger plan is to stain in my master bedroom but I wanted to test how the stain would react to my concrete first. I Purchased the taupe & gray color featured in the first photo. After testing I realized that the taupe was more along the lines of dark gray but closer to the look of an oil stain (The second picture is two coats of the taupe after 12 -14 hours). I was not happy with the taupe on it’s own so thankfully I had the “gray” (which is really brown) to break up the mildew\oil stain color from the taupe. The two together turned out ok for my back patio but would have NEVER worked in my bedroom!! I have grays and blues in there and need a true gray. I’m still on the search for the right gray for my bedroom but I do not recommend using the gray stain from this company unless you’re really wanting brown. I also don’t recommend the taupe unless you’re going for watered down black. However the two together are not so bad if you’re wanting a blackish and brown mix...Bottom line: think goodness my house is brown so it worked out for my patio but this would have been a MUCH worse review if I had gone straight to staining my bedroom without testing it on my patio first! Be aware that the colors are not what the label states.
