my grandson loves this
My grandson is obsessed with the Dr. Seuss Grynch book and movies. He has played with this set more times than I can count and it has held up well.

My grandson loved loved loved this
This is an awesome set. My grandson Dominic and I loved putting it together and taking it apart and then starting over again. He loved it so much. I would highly recommend.

Nice Set
Kids enjoyed this set. Easy to follow directions. My only complaint is the removable heart sticker for the Grinch. Comes with 5 hearts but after that you are out if luck. Wish they would have built something into him or done something more reusable.

Better than Duplos.
Super cute. I like that it has rhyming words. It also moves, which my kids love. I think these are better than duplos.

Our Kids Like Basic Block And Gear Sets Better
This Grinch set isn’t as much fun as I thought it would be. It’s too hard for our two year old to put together, even after many repetitious readings of the booklet—she’s just not ready to follow such detailed directions. If we want anything that resembles a finished product, an adult has to intervene and basically build it. That’s okay—we have three year old twins too, so I thought at least someone in this age bracket would enjoy the toy. The boys built the scene once or twice, but they actually prefer free play with the blocks versus following any directions.Maybe other kids might like the structured play these sets might provide, but ours simply like playing with large blocks and using their own imagination—no rhyming book or pictures required. The three little moving gears are a nice added feature, but there are much nicer and bigger sets available that even our two year old can assemble, and that all three kids enjoy playing with together. Learning Resources makes some wonderful introductory and advanced gear sets.
