Colonial America (You Choose: Historical Eras)

Can't say enough great things about this book & this series. While reading this book, my son learns about history AND is building his critical thinking skills by having to decide what course of action to take based on what he has read in the book. It's like 'Choose Your Own Adventure' and a history book together. I love, love this series and plan to buy every book in it!!

We bought it for our son because I loved reading these kind of books when I was young. I forgot how true to history and somewhat violent they could be. Probably look through some of the endings before you give them to a younger child and make sure they are appropriate for them. In a lot of the adventures you can end up getting killed off in very unpleasant ways. In one story ending you are trampled to death, not a fan of my sensitive young reader.

Our family loves this series of books. They create hours of fun learning.

My kids ages 5 and 7 LOVED this book. They learned what it was like to live during Colonial America and enjoyed changing the ending to the story by making different choices.

This book is so engaging for kids who love history!

This book is the bees knees, the cats pajamas, its a MUST for every teacher homeschooled or public, use this as a tool, its fun, the students wont forget it.
