At first I quite disappointed. I thought the explanations were very simplistic and most of moves are pretty basic, unlike many Jiu-Jitsu books. But I tried some the moves in class. Surprisingly I had a lot of successes. Positions like half-guard and butterfly became much easier. Suddenly I was submitting guys and escaping from guys who used pin me down or just sweep me. That's why simple is good. It makes it easier to memorize a few moves before class and then try them out. Also by keeping it simple it make it easier to understand the idea behind method which what I really need in real sparring situation instead of thousand details.If you do MMA or BJJ and want to improve your ground game this book is value for your money. You should get it.

Prosa lot of techniques that actually works from one of the best MMA Coach on the planetstrategy explainedConsNo drills at all (i'll appreciate if the author will release a 3d book from this series or better a video material with DRILLS!)PS In case author will release a second edition I would vote for adding the "difficulty to implement" levels to each technique,cause some technique from the book is really hard to implement or too risky.

This book is comprehensive and helful , Greg Jackson knows the MMA game very well and gives for the most part practical techniques to help you in this book. Also awesome diet info. Would recommend this book to anyone.

The book covered everything we wanted to know about ground grappling.Only thing that could have been included was the rubber guard.

Great book but I prefer to watch a well made video. I did find some of the material quite good.

Il libro elenca veramente molte tecniche a terra, molto ben illustrate. Non si può pretendere di imparare MMA solo leggendo un libro ma permette di ragionare su molti passaggi tecnici che in palestra possono sfuggire. Le descrizioni sono completamente in inglese ma di livello molto semplice.
