Perfect for travel
I've had this travel pillow for plane trips for over ten years and I just bought a new replacement (not because there's actually anything wrong with the old one but just because the carry case was getting too worn out! I'm afraid the strap is going to break and the pillow will go rolling away somewhere). The old pillow itself is still going strong, although you cannot compare the firmness of the old and the new one I just received - the new one is very firm and the old one is very soft. I'm not sure which I prefer yet as I haven't used the new on on a plane yet so looking forward to breaking it in soon. The old one traveled everyone around the world with me, helping make sitting in airline seats just a little more bearable. I highly recommend it, based on years of experience. You just roll it up and I use a carabiner that I bought separately to attach it to my travel backpack, so it's always at the ready.I'm very happy to see that they are still making it, as sometimes you love something and you go to replace it and it's been discontinued. Glad I bought this one. Funny thing, I paid about the same price then as I did for the new one, so the price hasn't gone up over time. It was more of an investment back in the day, but today it's money well spent. I justified the original purchase to myself when I flew first class on the first leg of a flight but was downgraded to a coach seat on the return... and thought of how I was going to make the ride as comfortable as possible? I discovered this pillow at an airport store and it did the trick. I still use it for almost every flight I take.UPDATE: Downside for the new product is that it's a little hard, so little bit of a challenge to get back into the carrying case but I hope that it will soften up over time. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, works great!

Great Travel Pillow!
I love my standard size version of this pillow, so I bought the travel size for an extended Europe trip, and it was perfect! Don’t let the “compact” size worry you. The memory foam keeps your head in place all night, just like the standard size, and it works surprisingly well. When in the travel case, it fit in the bottom of my backpack, so I was even able to use it for the long flights.

Great travel companion, much better than the competitors
It is literally half of the normal pillow they sell, with a travel bag, great size and quality to travel with, not sure if they used a different material, but it doesn’t get much softer like some other memory form pillow (including the ones from the same brand), I have been using it for over a year by now, with around 4-5 months on the road and found no problems squeezing it back to the bag everytime I leave a place and the texture remains firm. If u roll / move a lot during sleep it might not be the best as u will simply roll out of the pillow after 5 mins, otherwise great travel companion for side/back sleepers. I tried similar products from other brands and this is by far the best and the only two or three I would buy again/recommend to others.

Expensive but good
I have this pillow in a standard size and it really helps my neck pain by providing a lot of neck support. However, it is really small and expensive for the size so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re larger.

One size doesn’t fit all….
I really wanted to like this pillow. I like the idea and the bag to carry. Unfortunately, the pillow is too high and I feel too much pressure on my neck. I normally use Tempur Neck Pillow size S. I hope the company produces size S for travel size!!!!!

Best Travel Pillow - can't live without it
This is the best travel pillow if you are a Tempurpedic pillow user. When you are not traveling, this pillow is handy for back support when placed between your knees.

Firm, but Nice memory Foam
I really like this travel pillow. It is small, but works well. It is firm, yet also memory foam. It does roll up into its travel case, but it takes some forcing. I wish the travel case was a bit bigger, but I have taken this on several trips and it works well for me. Better than normal hotel pillows. And, it doesn't take up too much space in a suitcase.

Travel pillow is hard as a brick.
Have owned many tempur-pedic pillows, and two mattresses. Bought the travel pillow for an upcoming trip and didn't test it out first. I had been using an old neck pillow cut in half, with the cover resewn to fit. I deeply regretted not trying this out first night on my trip. Pillow has no "memory" foam feel to it all, unless it is just made to remember keeping it extra firm shape at all costs. It was so hard that if I side slept my ears would hurt, having to swap sides multiple times throughout the night. I ended up buying another regular size tempur-pedic pillow and using it during my trip. No stars for this little guy. I tried several different methods of "breaking in" with no success. Was past the 30 day returns when I got back home, and will just chalk it up to a lesson learned.
