Structural Steel Designer's Handbook 5th Edition

I was looking more for a hands on information book for the average person. This book goes more in detail that I had expected and on a higher level . If that is what you want then it is good.

Great Reference book. I will be using this book at work when I need to do steel design. Good for connections and bridge references.

Not a bad handbook. It tries to cover most important topics. The problem is Steel Structure is a very vast area. In this book, they try to provide a comprehensive material, but the result is like a simple undergraduate steel structure text book. Not a very useful for the practical engineers. It may be helpful for draftmen or architects, who are seeking a more design guide book than their formal school studes.

Excellent condition. A complimentary to the design manual. For just a step farther.
