96500KC Ami "GMC" Grille Emblem, Chrome/Black

I bought this for my 2005 Sierra. This item is very well made and does not appear cheap at all. Installation was really easy and took no time at all to install.Installation: the emblem was not bent all the way to perfectly fit the grill, this is probably so it can work with multiple models. My suggestion is that when you're installing the threaded screws into the emblem, use pliers and make sure you have them screwed tight. Grip the screws in the area that won't be used or you'll damage the threads for when you put the nut on. I screwed them in hand tight first and as the emblem was compressing against the grill, it stripped the threads in the emblem. After threading the screws all the way with pliers, I was able to compress the emlbem flat against the grill and it worked out great.Overall: I'm very happy with this item and just be sure to tighten the threaded screws into the emblem, that way when you're tightening the nuts to flatten it against the grill, they won't strip. #lly_duramax_05

It looks nice. I didnt screw it into the back of the grill. I popped the old GMC grill emblem out with a flat head screw driver. This grill emblem comes with a few bolts that work as pegs. You screw the peg into the back of the emblem, put this on your grill, then youre suppose to get behind the grill and screw a nut on the other side of the peg. I didnt do that. It wasnt too hard. I took this grill emblem, I put the bolts in the back of this emblem, Then dabbed a little E9000 glue around the base of the peg and on the back of the emblem, then I pressed it up against our grill. The bolt pegs kept the emblem perfectly placed while I pressed on the emblem for a few minutes while the glue dried. It came out flawless. I dont feel that I put too much glue that if I needed to pop this off some day, that I could easily.

I used this non-conventionally and installed it on my 2016 GMC 2500 Denali with an aftermarket grill I purchased on Ebay. It's a bit small but over all great. The badge is good quality, metal and the finish seems to be powder-coated on. The mounting was super easy for this grill since it just uses posts and nuts with fender washers. My only complaint is that they did not provide stainless hardware, so I went to the hardware store and picked up some replacements. Overall very happy and hopefully this will help others.

Fit my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD perfectly. Installation was relatively simple. Looks great! High Quality product. Recommended for anyone considering replacing the stock red emblem.

Looks nice but I did have to put it in a vice and bend it to get it to fit correctly without breaking the new grille

This grille GMC emblem looks great on my truck! Absolutely great product!Cons....the plastic they wrap it in is absolutely ridiculous! It took an hour at least to peel the plastic off. It's like they clued it on. I had run it under hot water and dish soap and a razor blade. There's no reason to go through all this trouble to remove the plastic. Whomever idea it was to wrap it in this plastic needs to rethink the packaging process. Otherwise it looks great on my truck after an hour of fighting trying to get the plastic off!

Awesome emblem for the price. Metal, thick and well made. Install is very easy. Added an awesome look to my truck. You get what you pay for and this is quality

Bolts on and it’s very weak where the bolt goes into the grille. Pain since it’s not shaped exactly right. I took mine off my truck within 2 weeks. Doesn’t have chrome border, I can repair mine by drilling deeper and running a tap farther down but it looks better painted with chrome border
