Bucilla Stamped Embroidery Kit, 45 by 45-Inch, 45178 Butterfly

I ordered the Bucilla Stamped Embroidery Kit, 45 by 45-Inch, 45178 Butterfly This is beautiful. I have not done it yet, but the stamp is clear and easy to see. I think this will be so pretty when it is done.The quality of the material seems pretty nice. There are no frayed edges its clean cut.The size is decent and it is just as it was described in the description. This project uses more than just the standard cross stich. However the instructions provided look very easy to follow and I don’t think it will be difficult.This has a lot of stitching it will not be a quick project but it will be fun and I hope look so pretty in the end.Please note this project does not come with thread you will need to buy your own, but hey that way you can customize it just the way you like.I do wish the edges were finished but that can be done fairly easily on a sewing machine.This does not have an quilt backing this is a simple standard piece of cloth. You will need to turn it in to a quilt. The description is very misleading.Over all I am very pleased I however would not recommend this project to a beginner due to the additional stiches besides the standard cross stich.I hope you found my review helpful. This does not come with backing. I still loved it and added my own touches to it, for a great friend of mine.This was very easy to follow and had more than enough thread to complete. I even had enough thread to add a poem I wrote on the outside border.I wish it came with a large hoop, but It was still very much worth buying and working on. It does take awhile to complete-so if you have time or want to know if you will have time-purchase it months before you intend to give it to that someone special.

I just started this project, the picture looks beautiful so I am sure it will turn out great. The directions seem pretty easy to follow so far. The material seems right for the quilt top, good thickness and weight.

My only complaint is that the product is advertised as a kit with floss--it does NOT contain floss. To complete the quilt, one also needs to get batting and backing material. That said, the instructions as easy to follow, and the pattern is very pretty.

It looks just like the picture. the only neg. thing i can say is that it does NOT bring the threads.

I have made three of these I would highly recommend this to anyone that likes to guilt its very easy and you can pick your own colors to do it in thanks

Quality company, quality cloth and design...the cross stitch is easy to read along with the directions.

I was so happy when I saw this advertised as Stamped Embroidery Kit. I was so unhappy when it arrived and returned it within 24 hours! This is not an embroidery kit. It is cross stich without thread or yarn. The definition of Embroidery Kit needs to be reviewed.
