These tires are a 8 ply E rating tire.
I needed to replace the BFG All terrain tires that were on my 98 Chevy 1500 before 2018-19 winter hits. The best price I could find locally from tire shops was a Cooper for $168 a tire. Found these Westlake on Amazon for $91.00. Couldn't find much about them. Went to Westlake Website and found that they are E rated. These tires have a nice deep tread. Quiet on the black top and good traction on dirt. For the price you can't beat these tires. Have had them on the truck for about three weeks and I'm very pleased so far. Cost me $82.00 for all four tires to be mounted and balaced keeping me under $500.00 for four new tires. They are a 8 ply E rating tire.

Hit the road (or off-road)
I've had these tires before. I only replaced two this time because of a very bad alignment job. I only drive this truck maybe 3000 miles per year and the others on the truck are from 2012 and holding up fine. The price is great. I had to get my own tire machine and balancer because of the enormous hassle dealing with tire shops, local to me, at least. They will not touch a tire over 6 years old because they are "no longer safe." I have tires 5 times that old on collector cars....no problem. These tires were fresh January 2024 manufacture date (about 6 months old) But my tire store had no problem selling me my final set of tires that were 2-1/2 years old. Get these, they are great.

Time will Tell
Update: been a bunch of years and maybe 15-20k on my 3500 dually and tires are great.Bought these based on price and the AT tread design. Just installed 235/85/16s on my dually... Rode great. Ill update as time goes on (snow use and as time/mileage racks up). Was hesitant to buy Chinese tires but time will tell...Update: nice riding tire. Great in 3-5” deep snow driving around my yard in 2wd.

Great Value
Replaced BFG ATs with these as they were same load rating and half the price with a decent appearance. Tread design more than adequate for offroad use. Glad to see the siping on the tread (the tiny slits) as this really helps in wet and or snow conditions. Quieter on the road than expected. Overall great value.
