Richland® 3" X 3" Hand Poured Light Blue Pillar Candle

I have a bias against scented candles, the vast majority of them are far too heavily perfumed and if I want a scent in my rooms or house, i will usually resort to incense over candles. In particular, i have specific uses for candles that require a few qualities that this line from Quick Candles delivers exceptionally on. I require the ability to carve sigils and glyphs into their surface without that annoying cracking along the edges that less quality candles have a tendency to do, the cuts require precision and clean grooves from my carving efforts. They also have to let me use ink as another means of conveying intent without running or bleeding (though this is as often a trait of the ink as it is the candle). The color of the candle must be uniform, no fading in hues from one end to the other or in pockets where the dye didn't fully penetrate. Finally it has to burn with a clean steady flame that consumes the wax at a slow steady rate. This candle delivers on all those requirements with uncompromising quality. Admittedly, my needs for a candle are specific and esoteric, but for those readers who are cluing into what I use them for and who have similar purposes in mind, its hard to find a brand its equal.

I like the color.

The color and size of these candles were just perfect for that I was looking for. Described and delivered as promised.

The candle is the right color and size for the decor

I ordered two of these candles in different shades and love the rich, saturated colors which matched the pictures I saw on my screen. The candles arrived perfectly unblemished and wrapped in protective plastic. My only criticism is that I think the price is a bit high versus what you would would find in a store like Target. I understand that you pay more for hand-poured, although that really wasn't a draw for me. I chose these candles because they were the exact colors I was seeking to compliment my decor.

I have two of these candles in brass holders on my mantle without candle rings. I also have two other Fall candles with rings and Fall flowers and photos.

Smaller than anticipated. Blue is a beautiful color!

The plum color makes for the perfect accent for a bathroom counter.
