NATIONAL MFG CO #N104-349 #10SGL Box Rail Bracket Galvanized

I bought this because the track on my barn door kept sliding out. The door would hit the ground and wouldn't move until I put the track back in the brackets. It kept happening, so I needed a fix. This bracket was actually a bit thicker (in a good way) than the ones I already had on there. After installing it, I've had no issues with the door!

I had bought a 8' section of box rail for the door to my living room closet. The rail came pre drilled with holes to mount into the ceiling, but I didn't have any joists where I wanted to mount the rail. These allow you to attach the rail to wall studs instead. In my case, I had to build out some spacers from 3/4" plywood, to keep my door from touching the wall, but that problem is probably unique to me (my door is about 3.5" thick). Over all, I am happy with the performance of these brackets. Keep in mind, these must be installed in the studs, so you may not have much flexibility with the location of the brackets (from an ascetic point of view). I recommend these and will purchase them again, when the need arises.

I've bought rail hangers on several occasions and I have to say this one is the best. Now, I will admit that all my previous rail hanger purchases were of this same kind because frankly, I wasn't aware of any others out there to choose from. Don't know what I might have done, if I had known I might have a choice. But hey, I screwed it in place and that nifty little hanger has held the rail up ever since, just like it was supposed to. Quietly doing its job day in and day out holding up the rail. Is that cool or what? I'm going all out and giving it five stars.

What can you say. Four of them hold up two six foot box rails and two 70 pound barn doors. They are heavy duty enough that I have no worries about them supporting the weight of two heavier-than-expected barn doors. They screwed easily into the 2x6 header above my door opening are holding the rails and doors solidly. This product could hold up a much heavier door with ease. The package holds five brackets and I only needed four to safely and securely hold up the barn doors. This is another good sturdy product that does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Holding really well! The bolts are too short if you need to bring the rail out from the wall (if you have a thick door) so I replaced them with longer lag bolts from Lowes. Overall really well made and I feel like the door is very secure. I used two sets (4 total) to hang mine because it was so large.Painting is easy if you wash them with vinegar first to remove some of the galvanized coating. Don't skip priming or you will regret it.

I replaced the existing brackets with these. They were good and just what was portrayed. The problem was that the holes in the new brackets were one eighth inch higher than the existing brackets so after installing the new brackets I had to move them over into new wood to raise them up to get the door off the concrete. Should have checked this first
