These Tabs are a no-brainer if you have the international code book. They stick to the pages very well and make it very easy for you to find the section you are looking for. They came in the mail very fast and the packaging was very good. Well worth the price.

ICC system of organization & cross referencing seems to be ...
ICC system of organization & cross referencing seems to be set up so that the authors can prove how obtuse they can make something. I have worked with Building Codes for 40-years and they just seem to get more illogical in organization each issue. Going to multiple locations to try to piece together the requirements for an issue often leads to varying interpretations of the intent to no one's benefit.

Make it easy
I find these tabs are a definite necessity with every code book. If you reference your code book a lot then you need these.

Down with the ICC
The International Code Council is a bunch of worthless "Building Officials" (Whatever the hell that is) who have no business writing any kind of code books. And I do not know why the Uniform Mechanical Code did not sue them for plagiarism when they first came out because that is all the ICC did.For all you laymen out there: Since the ICC has been adopted by Code Authorities all over the Country, your buildings have not gotten any better or safer. Only more politically correct & more expensive. They meet every 3 years for the sole purpose of changing codes. Not to keep up with technology. Not because there was some scientific data to show their changes are necessary. Only to add a permanent ladder to every school roof in America that has a roof deck higher than 16'. Tradesmen don't need that. Maintenance people do not need that, or want it. (I do not care how burglar proof you try and make them, teenagers will find a way to get up them and on the roofs) And Firemen absolutely do not need them. You ever seen a ladder on a Fire Truck? The only people who need a permanent ladder are out of shape, lazy code officials who haven't got the guts to climb an extension ladder. The only reason I bought this book is because I have to know what silly code changes they have come up with so I can ensure I have it in my bids & installations. As a business man, I do not care! I make a percentage off everything I sell. But as an American, I care plenty! God save us from the ICC and bring us back to the days of the UMC. America would be far better off.If anyone wants to send me a message and defend this pile of garbage, please feel free! I will debate you anywhere, anytime. And if you are with the ICC: GFY.
