Love these for handling meat and fish in addition to veggies. They are easy to clean. More environmentally friendly. They look brand new when they come out of the dishwasher.

I love this and I use it a lot!!! ⚠️Wash it in the dishwasher first use. It left gray marks on the pasta the first time I used it (which probably isn’t super healthy 😅) because I only hand washed it.

Found a bunch of mystery black stuff in the cupboard and realized they came from the colander. Seems like the edges of all the little holes were not properly polished/sanded. Reminds me of the untrimmed threads you frequently find in cheaper garments. Not a deal breaker for us as the issue resolved after some hand scrubbing with a scourer and dish soap. Water also tends to pool in the colander so you'll have to rub your hands underneath it to break the water tension to help it drain. Overall we really like this set. Great flat bottom, wide handles, and easy to maintain.

This makes a good first impression, but after washing it a few times and continually getting black residue on the cloths and brushes we decided it wasn't worth the risk of not knowing what that was coming off in our food.

When I ordered this I was expecting a low quality grade stainless steel on the bowl and colander set but I got admit it was a a lot better than I was expecting. It might be a little on the thin side but holds up great with no dings on it so far. Holes on the colander are small and spaced evenly but draining is a little slow compared to my other colanders but they are made out of plastic and have bigger drain holes. It also stacked perfectly with my stainless mixing bowls saving space in the shelves. Price is comparable to the big box stores but the difference is they don’t come with a bowl which makes this set a better deal!

This colander and bowl set has totally transformed my nut milk game. I use the colander over the collector bowl, line it with a nut milk bag, then use the solid bowl on top as a press. The result? Fast, mess-free straining without having to squeeze anything by hand. I’ve tried a lot of setups over the years, but this is hands down the fastest and easiest system I’ve used. It holds up beautifully to hot liquids like fresh soy milk, and the high-capacity bowl means fewer spills and more control. I absolutely hate manually handling nut milk bags, so the fact that I can press with a bowl instead of my hands is a game changer. The microperforated colander drains quickly and evenly, the materials are sturdy and easy to clean, and everything nests neatly when not in use. Mechanical efficiency meets countertop beauty. Highly recommend for anyone who makes plant-based milks or wants a multi-tasking strainer set that actually works.
