a time honored design that is still in service. Solid and works great for what it is. However, if the spring breaks for any reason you cannot just replace the spring...there is no way to take it apart to fix it. Of course it took several years for that to happen. Other than that, it does what it supposed to do-keep your yard green!

It's just a replacement sprinkler head, not much complicated about it. Looks and works like original. I bought this used at a discount, so can't complain, looks new. Amazon did send me another sprinkler head previously but it was broken, completely unusable. Fortunately returned it and I got lucky the second time. YMMV.

Fits our sprinkler perfectly. Glad to only replace the head, when the stand was in good condition. Swapping out the broken part was easy.

I attempted to get this to work from the first day. Been using sprayer heads for years, I'm 67. I studied the system for a long time and noticed it was rubbing the base on my tri-pod. Had to make a slight upward bend to get it to work properly as it approached the return stops. Normally it would just hit the stops and cheap for 2 or 3 minutes before flipping into return mode. Now the system is back at it again but not rubbing thit time. Now the head is just dragging on its own, hard to turn or move freely. Therefore I determined it's just junk. Paid good money and I shouldn't need to troubleshoot and make repairs on a sprinkler that's 3 months old. Sorry, but shop for another brand and play it safe!!!

I have had a couple of Orbit sprinklers which get a lot of use and our water is very hard and full of rust which is hard on sprinklers. The head on our old model was leaking and I replaced it with this new one. Much cheaper than buying a whole new sprinkler. Works great. Easy to adjust and covers a large area when mounted on a tripod.

All made of metal. No plastic parts to break. Good old fashion construction that will last. Easy to adjust spray and amount of coverage from narrow to complete circular coverage.Unfortunately, I did not use it until after return date. It does not do a long-distance spray like this style normally does. Don't know if it is a defect in the construction of the one I got. Disappointed that I will have to buy another one, probably at nearby hardware store.
