Life is Strange 2 - Complete Season - Steam PC [Online Game Code]

I’ve never played Life is Strange, but I’ve seen a few different people stream it. I always thought the overall story was good but I always found the two main characters....not great.I bought this game withou knowing anything about the new plot line. I hadn’t seen trailers or teasers or played Captain Spirit.The graphics are gorgeous, and each scene or “set” is so detailed. There are some very beautiful cinematic sequences with the two brothers that have a feeling of nostalgia and hope, but with that underlying of dread KNOWING all the effed up stuff that happened in the first game.One of my biggest gripes with LIS was the weird dialogue. A lot of the comments they the characters made were just weird and out of place, but it seems like the script writers really listened to those critiques and the dialogue feels a lot more natural now. There are still moments of “who...who would ever say that like that” but I think it gets hidden behind the fact that you’re playing as a 16 yo boy who mostly hangs out with his 9 yo brother.Overall I think this game is really great so far. I’m really one to enjoy slower paced, story rich games so if you enjoy those too, I think this game will definitely up your alley.

New characters, Same Universe. YES, your decisions from Life is Strange DOES impact your game play for Life is Strange 2. If you are missing a save file, the game has a built in mechanic that allows you to chose your decisions that are carrying over to Life is Strange 2. Simply, say Yes to the prompt of “Did you play Life is Strange” and answer the following question afterwords. You may or may not notice what is changed but it is there. The characters are new, so EXPECT that it will take time to warm up to these new characters in the story. Since everything is new, YES things will seem different from Life is Strange; do not let nostalgia ruin your gaming experience. Playing this game with an OPEN-MIND and a positive attitude will go a LONG way in enjoying the story that DONTNOD is telling us.

The music is amazing. Definitely worth replaying

I ordered Life is Strange 2 full season today via the online code. have it set up to download and it states that it will take 18 hrs to complete. Now I know this isn't my computer as it is only a month or so old (brand new). Should I stop the download and start over? I really want to play the game and give my opinion of it.

After watching Life is Strange 2: Episode 3 on YouTube, I went and bought the game. Both to show my support for the franchise and to show that i want more.Life is Strange games all have a great or, at least, interesting stories. Life is Strange 2 story seems to be going in the right direction toward great as of Episode 3; however, that is why you watch/buy Life is Strange 2, or any of the others. Not for game-play or the choices, which, like all games including this one, are limited and pretend to effect story in a meaningful way. Come at this game/franchise wanting a good story, not game-play/choices or you will be very disappointed.If you are unsure, watch the first episode on YouTube (Jesse Cox walkthrough is best UwU). Still not interested? Watch the other episodes and see if your feelings change; if so, stop watching and then drop some bucks on it to play the rest for yourself (or wait for a sale). Fun game. Story was a bit lackluster but I still had a blast playing it.

What is it?Life is strange 2 is basically a well written book / play / film turned into a game. Maybe it is better described as an interactive novel. It reminds me of those old school PC games where you click through walls of text to progress though the game.What’s Hot+ Story+ Pacing+ Concept+ Voice Acting+ Music+ Simple Controls+ ReplayingWhat’s Not- Feels short- The wait for future episodes- The game crashed twice on my Xbox One- Controls are a little too simplisticStory:You take control of Sean Diaz a 16 year old Mexican-American Teen living in Seattle with his Father and, younger brother Daniel. Sean seems to be living a mostly ordinary teenage life where he has a wacky BFF, annoying little brother, as well as a caring but, not over protecting parent. Things turn south fast when a neighbor bullies his younger brother.GameplayThe simplistic gameplay makes the game easy to jump into, but it also shows where the priority was when developing the game. DONTNOD clearly put most of the focus in developing the story of the game which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.GraphicsHonestly speaking, besides some beautiful landscapes and vistas there isn’t much to write home about. The graphics and animations looks like good last gen stuff. The cinematography is well done tho.AudioEverything sounds about right here. The soundtrack is fitting and out of the way when it needs to be but, comes in full of emotion when it something dramatic happens. Voice acting is great. I felt like Brody and Sean’s actors were spot on.ReplayOne of the hidden gems with this type of game is replaying it and, doing things differently to receive different results. I have already done multiple playthroughs and, will probably do more to try to unlock all the achievements that i can.ValueWhether you pay $8 for the single episode or $40 for the whole season it is well worth it. I would have only suggested some sort of deal for buying the whole season like maybe charging $35 or something but whatever. That just me being cheap.Final ThoughtsWhere to start… To be completely honest I didn’t think i would like this type of game. Don’t get me wrong I love story driven games, heck I was gonna go to school for film, but simply put this is more of an interactive story than a video game. Maybe that's why I like it so much. It's like a break from the intense focus it takes from playing most other video games. On top of that the well written story and characters are enough to keep me engaged. Some may find the political influence distasteful but honestly that is the climate we live in today and I think it works just fine. It actually makes the game feel more authentic. I can’t wait for the next episode to come along. I am guessing it will be during the winter being that there is snow on the ground in the scenes for the next episode.
