Pic COMBO Terra Cotta Mosquito Coil Burner

This really works! I live in the mountains and could not sit on my deck in the evenings without getting munched. I place this on the floor under a side table and the incense wafts and disburses nicely. I’m purchasing 3 additional ones to place in other areas on my deck. The coils that come with the device are extremely fragile and need to be handled carefully.

I like to use these coils to keep mosquitos away, but didn't like the way they dropped ash on my table/floor and often broke. The terra cotta burner takes care of both issues, protecting both my table and the coil. I now have 3 of them (mosquitos like me) and use them regularly on my porch.

I was shipped a damaged/defective item. Product was properly packaged, but the manufacturer's box was torn open at one corner, the terracotta burner was chipped, and the 4 ea mosquito coils were absent. Adding insult to injury, Amazon is requiring me to take the product to UPS to ship it back. I think this is an unnecessary inconvenience to the customer, as Amazon can't re-sell the item (or shouldn't). Very poor solution on the part of Amazon.

breaks easily (I repaired w superglue and some tape. the dust/ash builds up from the coils and needs to be occasionally scraped (carefully) out - as the bottom piece has a nice centered mount for the coils, although almost very specifically designed for OFF brand coils which burn in this the best, compared to my CogansCoils. and I broke it by tapping it against the deck failing to get the dust out. that wasnt a good idea. but it covers the coil and that manages the safety aspect, as we desire no more deck fire from these little smoker coils, which do work to rid deck of mosquitoes. but some fun and thought as you do not want the rain to wash out the coils nor to fill the burner, as it is a bowl afterall. makes a interesting ash pond in the base. I like this the best. fragility aside. will buy again when I carelessly break it next year. we will see. I like the protection from the hot coil end. that adds safety to my deck experience. I need all that I can get. pro: nice, does the job.cons: easily swamped w rain water making ash mess. fragile. no plastic scraper included.

This is a very sturdy and convenient coil holder. It is easy to use and clean. Because it's weight, you don't have to worry it get blown off or knocked over. The openings distribute smoke evenly to repel bugs and mosquitos. I have one at my front entrance and one on my back porch. Love it!
