Great Snacks!
These bars are AMAZING! Not only are they tasty, but the fact that they are made from real food instead of garbage fillers is a major plus!

Delicious Treat For People With Allergies
It’s gluten free, and dairy free. Its plant based and vegan. What’s not to like when you can’t eat those things and you finally find something sweet and chocolatey. As always if you have allergies like I do read the label. LaRabar makes lots of different flavors with different ingredients some have peanuts which I can’t eat so my review only applies to LaRabar chocolate chip cookie dough.

Pecan pie bars
In my opinion, the best flavor of this type of bar. Yummy.

Tasty
Not my favorite flavor but still a tasty snack or quick meal replacement in a pinch. The "jelly" isn't quite what I expected (it's more like grapes blended in with the other limited ingredients) but I enjoy it anyway.

My favorite flavor so far
I enjoy Larabars quite a bit. I appreciate the simple ingredients, but had no idea there were so many other flavors they made. I had to travel to Pennsylvania to find this flavor at a little health food store and loved it. I live where there's often not a lot of choice at the stores, so I was stoked to be able to order these, and a bunch of other flavors I've never seen. In general Larabars could stand to up the nuts and lower the date content to be a shade or two less sweet and up the protein content. For a chocolatey flavor however, this one is on the less sweet side compared to the ones with "brownie" or "cookie" in the name. I *do* however appreciate that these are not full of things like brown rice syrup or processed soy or pea protein isolates. Aside from being a bit sweet for me, I do find some of them to be reasonable on the sweet scale, and all the flavors are pretty dang good and taste like real food. I either eat these for a healthier dessert, or when I'm doing something physical like sports or working outside and need some quick calories.

Mint Chip Brownie has changed
I've been eating Larabars daily for over 10 years, probably more like 15. Years ago after they discontinued my favorite flavor I switched to the Mint Chip Brownie. Beginning last March 2023 I started getting boxes that tasted funny - like there was glue or some chemical added. I tossed them thinking maybe they weren't stored properly or there was a manufacturing problem. Larabar did not respond when I tried contacting them. For the last 6 months I will sometimes get a "good" box - meaning it tastes how it always has, but more often than not I get a "bad" box. To me it is a striking difference, like I have to spit out the bad ones I think they taste so horrible. And they leave a foul aftertaste. I tried purchasing boxes at my local store and have had the same experience. For awhile I tried to buy extra from Amazon when I would get good boxes to see if I could get more of the same batch with the same expiration dates. But I am now more likely to get bad boxes and am giving up.Larabar never responded to multiple inquiries I sent on their online forms. I finally called this last week. Not surprisingly, customer service is now overseas. I had called in the past when they discontinued my favorite bar, and it was someone who actually worked for Larabar. But, Larabar has been sold to General Mills, so I guess that means, goodbye quality product and goodbye getting any answers. Now, the customer service rep I spoke to was kind and I could understand him, but it's not someone who works for Larabar anymore. It is outsourced customer service. So, I couldn't find out what change had happened with the bars. They don't know anything.I will try some of their other flavors, but not having high hopes. Do not expect the same flavor or quality from Larabar anymore. They aren't in charge anymore. General Mills is.

Expiration Date
The bars are delicious and they arrived quickly but was disappointed that the expiration date is coming up too soon.
