Blue MonsterDrain Banger Drain Cleaner (1 lb.)

We recently purchased a 12 year old house with a slow draining 2nd floor shower/tub. This product was recommended by a plumber - he uses it in his own home. I was amazed at how fast it worked, less than 3 minutes and the drain was flowing again! Highly recommend this over other drain cleaning products, I'm keeping a bottle of this handy for any future needs! I do wish the "drain" instructions on the label were in lbs, not cups... 1 cup ~ 0.5 lbs, and this bottle is 1 lb.

We’ve had issues with our tub backing up at least monthly. The plumbing in our house was configured so oddly and the kitchen sink would back up into the first floor bathroom tub. The smell was absolutely awful and no matter what we used we couldn’t get it to budge. We plunged, used everything we could buy, Drano, Liquid Plumber, etc. We finally had to call a plumber, he came out and had to use an auger to get a pinhole in the massive clog in a basement pipe, he then poured this down the tub and within a few minutes the tub drained and the clog was clear. The plumber said they use this all the time and we should keep a bottle handy as preventative maintenance every 6 months. A $375 service call for the plumber 6 months ago but since he used this we’ve never had the tub back up again.

Works very well

This is the best product for drains that are either clogged or or drains slow. I was told about this by a plumber years ago. My daughter and I at the time both had hair to our waist and as you can imagine, we had slow drainage in the shower due to hair buildup. Whenever the drain starts to drain slow, I just pour about half a cup on the drain and pour some hot water and we’re good to go., But be careful not to breathe the fumes they’re horrible.

If you have a real slow drain, this is a must. If you have a septic system use a maintenance bacteria a couple nights later.

Really cleaned out my drain

I have struggled with my washing machine discharge overwhelming my 2 inch pipe. I have owned the house for 14 years and it just got worse and worse. Unfortunately, the house was built with a garbage disposal. Eventually, I had to attach a hose to just run the water from the washer out into the yard. I’ve been doing that for three years. After creating a little opening with a snake, I put a load or three of this product in accordance with the Instruction down the hole. Looking through my clean out as I discharged a washer load down the tube, it was nasty and a bunch of grease. I have maintenance it twice in the last month just for good measure. I have no fear of running my washer only existing lines now. Good basic Chemistry.

I was prepared to pay a plumber for many hours of work to resolve my drain issue. But he used Drain Banger and only had to charge me for a service call. I buy a bottle of this every year and it keeps drains flowing very well.
