Infinity Instruments 10940-AURA Retro 9-1/2-Inch Metal Wall Clock,Yellow

I purchased this clock 6 years ago to hang on our outside wall to view from our pool. We live in southwest Florida and the clock is affixed on our north facing wall under our lanai. Temperature and humidity changes are extreme. It has faced hurricane Irma and shrugged her off. It laughs at the downpours from our summer rains. It is amused when it watches me sweat while I cut the grass. It stares at our cats while they play and hunt anoles by the pool. It listens to the frogs chirp and to the opossums fighting at night.And through it all, it continues to tick silently away. It is never wrong. It is always matching the time on my Iphone. I have never had to adjust it. It is just always dead on accurate.I take it down twice a year for the daylight savings time swap. When I take it down I clean it, put in a fresh battery and back up it goes. Telling us the time.

We recently remodeled our kitchen to a modern/transitional style and we wanted to add a touch of color and retro. We chose the yellow Aura clock, and it fit our style perfectly!After living with it for a few months, though, we realized the clock was difficult to read at times, so we decided to take matters into our own hands.. or the clock's hands, to be more precise.We disassembled the clock (very easy to do) and painted the hands black with black nail polish. The results are shown in the photo.Now we love the clock even more! Highly recommended!Update 6/19/2022: It's been 4 years since I bought this clock, and it still keeps perfect time. I reset it twice a year for Daylight Savings Time, and it takes a fresh AA battery about once a year. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this clock. This is the second time I ordered this exact clock, my first one lasted several years and finally got too tired to keep going. My first clock was purchased at Bachmans; I was elated to find that I could find my exact same clock on Amazon as I haven’t ventured out much with Covid happening. They had other colors but I stuck with my favorite teal blue. I must look at this clock 100 times a day to check the time it’s always been accurate. Love the vibe that this style clock brings to my living space!

I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, but I'm so happy I bought this clock. This is a true retro piece as the body is metal, not plastic. It looks great and reminds me of the clocks you would see in old time diners. I also like that the second hand moves in a smooth motion, as opposed to the tick-tick-tick type. I got the turquoise, which is absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend!

I like the style and color of this yellow metal retro wall clock. It would be nice if it kept time better. I purchased a similar looking clock in red several years ago and it has kept time since then. Unfortunately, this yellow clock purchased in mid 2020 stopped keeping the correct time a few months after purchase. A fresh battery failed to help. Looking at the clock laying on our kitchen table helped but it is a wall clock and when it is hung on the wall, the time keeps ticking but inaccurately. I ignored some of the bad reviews before purchase because I felt lucky from the previous purchase of the red clock that works fine. What failed to do was check the manufacturer; perhaps their are different. The clock is located in a rarely used extra bathroom so it was a while before the failure was noticed. I doubt it can be returned by now but my luck didn't work on this purchase.

Update: Upgrading to 5 from 4 stars. The lens is glass! It fell off our newly painted (lavender-gray - still looks fantastic!) wall late last night. Buying another to replace it right now! As others have stated, the second hand does not make noise, and since I'm in the kitchen a lot, that is a huge bonus.Previous 4-star review: It's not the quality of an antique - the lens is plastic, I don't know why I expected it to be glass - but the bezel is enameled metal, so it passes muster. The clockworks are a regular little plastic AA battery set-up. Maybe when I smack it with the cupboard door and knock it on the countertop, I'll be grateful the lens isn't glass.

Love the clock and the color. Fits perfectly in our kitchen. However we found the yellow hands and second hand were unreadable so my husband painted the hands black and the sweep second hand a deep orange. Now it is perfect. I think manufacturer should consider changing hands to black. Doesn’t take away from the beauty of the clock. And the best thing is the sweep second hand makes NO sound at all which is great because my kitten is attracted to the sound in our other clocks lol!

I have 2 of these clocks and enjoy both of them.This purchase is actually to replace one of them. It slipped out of my hand while trying to put it back on the wall after replacing the battery. I was unable to find how to contact the company to replace the broken glass, so I bought the replacement.
