powerful pump
This pump is great, efficient, reliable, lightweight and easy to set up and use. We use it to pump water out of large potholes in alleys and paved roads. It pumps the water out in minutes, it is really fast. I highly recommend it.

Outstanding pump
I mounted one of these by the stern of my 15' jonboat and it has been equal to the task on those "rough" days when alot of water comes over the side. It is wired directly to the battery with a trolling motor foot activated on/of switch and I was mighty glad to have it a couple times last year.

used for intercooler pump
We used the pump to flow water from our ice water tank to the intercooler in our race car so we cannot say how well it work's on a boat but it works awsome for our purpose.

Always buy a rule pump.
Have trusted rule pumps my whole life. Don't buy rule float switch. Float switch is horrible, will fail you for sure.
