I’m really pleased with this one! - Fits perfectly on my 16pro and allows just the right amount of room for my screen protector to sit flush without having any spacing issues! - Feels great in the hand and looks great in my opinion! (LOL!) - It DOES have built in magnets, so if you’re worried about it being able to still use your favorite mounts or charger, this has it covered! (I’m using a magnetic charger as I type this!) - I definitely love the extra drop protection (otterbox never disappoints!) - The commuter style I got leaves a nice little cutaway for this 16pro’s new camera control, but still has nice full coverage for the phone without having to deal with the bulky/edgy feel or rubbery feel over the entire case like some other brands (those are dust-magnets for me!) -Install was a breeze, make SURE to guide the charge port cover through the bottom of the outer frame during install so not to have any fitment issues! - Nice price point for the durability! - Hands down would get this one again and again! 11/10

Each time I upgrade my phone, I always jump for an OtterBox. Yes, you are definitely going to pay more than you should for a phone case, but every time I do, I am never disappointed because they last for the life of the phone. On top of that, if you drop your phone, it is actually protected and accompanied with a glass screen protector, I’ve never had my phone actually break or crack. Feels solid, fits perfectly and is easy to install. OtterBox will continue to have my business as long as they keep producing products like this.

Great case, protects the phone when you drop it.

I have had this phone case for a little over a month and like it. I have it on my iPhone 16 Pro. I have dropped the phone a few times and its good. The thing you need to be aware of is that the case does not protect the phones instant camera button or whatever Apple calls it. This leaves a portion of phone exposed and I could see it causing a problem if the phone is dropped in the spot the case does not offer much protection at all.

Excellent Product!!!I had an OtterBox Commuter case on my iPhone 7 for about 5 years and it performed flawlessly. I had dropped my phone a few times on carpet, hard floor tile, and concrete, and it protected my phone and the screen every time.When it came time to buy a case for my new iPhone 16, I went with the tried and true Commuter again, and it is great. It fits the phone snuggly, has plenty of rubber along the edges for good grip, slides in and out of my pocket with ease and without bunching up my pants, and easily fits with a screen protector on the phone. My wife has the OtterBox Defender case on her phone and it works for her because she stores it in her purse. But since I carry my phone in my pocket, the Defender was a bit too thick with more rubber that snagged or bunched up my pants pocket. This Commuter case has the MagSafe magnets built in and enables wireless charging. I'm Very Satisfied with the OtterBox Commuter case, and highly recommend it.

Do not buy this product. Otterbox is supposed to be a highly protective case; however, the design on this case is faulty. The border edge of the phone is protected, except for a gap near the camera button. This gap leaves the edge and screen unprotected in this area. I used this case on my phone for 1 day and had scratches on my phone in that unprotected area. My phone was damaged after 1 day because of this terrible design flaw. This is not a protective and durable case. I have always used Otterbox but now I think I need to look for other options. Also the case is all plastic and slippery. Overall I highly recommend looking for another option.

When looking for an iPhone case, I always end up getting an OtterBox. They've been the perfect balance between protection and affordability for me. I used the smaller model (Symmetry) with my iPhone 13, but with my new iPhone 16 Pro, I wanted something more substantial. The defender was way too bulky for my tastes, but the Commuter has been my case of choice going way back.The buttons are a little too firm, but I can compensate for that and it'll just take a little getting used to. I'm not a fan of the cutout for the side camera button, but I can't imagine a better way to allow access to it. Between this case and another company's screen protector, my phone feels very protected.MagSafe works great, which was my other requirement on my new case, to still be able to use MagSafe and MagSafe charging. That is why I used the Symmetry case on my iPhone 13, for fear of losing access to that feature.I might eventually try other brand's cases, but OtterBox has been so reliable, it is hard to justify buying anything else.
