Yes. This chocolate can be used to cook or bake any recipes calling for melted chocolate

Q: How many cups of cocoa does a bag make?

That would be pretty hard to calculate - it would make a heck of a lot of cocoa. Chocolate can actually be used to make cocoa. You put 3 1/2 cups of milk and 2 teaspoons of corn starch in a saucepan and whisk it together, then add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of dutch processed cocoa & heat on medium, whisking constantly. Then when steam is rising from the sides but it's not quite boiling you remove from the heat and stir in a combination of 4 ounces of milk chocolate (these pellets would melt as is...if you're using a bar of chocolate you would have to chop it in a processor) and 4 ounces of dark chocolate (72% dark chocolate chips work fine...again, if you're using a bar of chocolate you'd have to chop it) until it all melts and is smooth. It takes a little more work than using just powder, but it's totally worth it. The taste and texture is far superior to making it with powder. It has a great rich taste.

Q: Can these be used for hot cocoa bombs?

Yes! There are two different ways to do it, either in the microwave which needs a careful eye to make sure it's not over done or using a bain marie. If you don't have one, you can just use a pot with about an inch of water on the bottom and a bowl (I use a small metal mixing bowl). Also, you can scoop some of the chocolate into the mold and swirl it around but I find it easier to use a paintbrush (new and only used for that purpose).

By far the highest quality of chocolate you can purchase for you confections! This must be tempered properly for perfect results, so if you plan on melting it, you cannot simply melt & dip.

Disappointed

Chocolate not stored properly. Mine is melted and looks like it has bloom on it. I have big clumps of chocolate not callets. Very disappointed. Please do the right thing and replace this product for me. Chocolate is very expensive! The second picture is what I use this for. The melted chocolate does me no good!

Excellent chocolate
