QUALITY CONTROL ISSUE
The top of the package feels soft and pliable as it should. However the bottom arrived harder than a rock. Upon closer investigation, knowing there had to be an opening in the package somewhere, I found a small tear where the UPC label had been affixed. Things happen, but this should never have been sent to a customer like this. I've used Satin Ice fondant before and know that it is a good product. However, a large portion of this package will not be able to be used and therefore it useless and a waste of my money. The project I needed it for has to be done before another package could reach me, so this is VERY disappointing.

Great for a beginner decorator!
This was my first time using fondant and I was worried it would be difficult, but it was surprisingly easy to use. I traced a printed template and used a regular kitchen knife to cut out the Hamilton logo, and my kids used cookie cutters for the stars. It was really easy to roll out and actually didn't taste bad like I thought it would. It was softer than other fondants I've eaten, and had a good flavor. Great for a beginner decorator!

Disaster!
I made a mistake in disregarding the bad reviews and I totally paid for it! I only needed two colors, so I didn't want to buy the entire multi-pack of the fondant that I usually use, and decided to try this brand (I bought the yellow & black colors). This fondant is a seemingly impossible combination of dry & crumbly when you're working with it, but never fully drying when you're done. The corners of the fondant in the pack were completely dry and I had to discard them. Yet, 3 days after I made the decorations, if I pressed on it with a finger it still had a slight give...To cut the story short, my cake decorations looked crappy from the start, and then completely crumbled and fell apart as I was putting the cake together an hour before kiddo's party! (I made fondant construction trucks, so nothing too fragile or intricate).

Unworkable, crumbles
This is a review for the "Burgundy" product: as stated in a few other reviews about this particular color: item arrived with the bottom 1/4 rock solid, which in and of its own not a big deal, with a normal fondant you can easily soften with heating or shortening/glycerin. Not this one, heat did not affect it one bit, I threw that part away and decided to use the pretty soft upper 3/4. Well, that was a disaster too, fondant NOT usual texture, would crumble and crack on manipulation and roll out, even though it was pretty pliable. VERY different feel to say Wilton's or homemade. I tried all the tricks in the book, no change. At least for this color, this is NOT an option.

Great color, but consistency issues
This fondant was ok. It has a beautiful color, but when it came part was soft and pliable, and part was really hard. I was using it to make a hot wheels cake, and overnight it dries out so much it was brittle. I bought multiple colors of this brand, and orange was the only one that I had issues with, so it may have been a bad pack versus a bad recipe.

Easy to use but color is off
This fondant was really easy to use and worked perfect in that regard for the project I was making, but the burgundy color is more of a brown and I was super disappointed upon first opening it. I was using it to make a Gryffindor scarf for a Harry Potter cake, so I would've really preferred more of a red tone. It ended up looking fine, but still bummed about the color.

The taste is awesome
This is the best Fondant I have ever seen. It rolled out so smooth and easy. The product was very easy to color. I was using a blue and it held the color. I was so surprised how good it tasted. Lots of people including myself are not so fond of the taste and texture of Fondant, but this was so wonderful. The entire crowded commented on the taste. I had someone tell me the next day that the cake was the best he had eaten. I like the Fondant because it stayed smooth and did not turn to a grainy texture. I will be using this from now on. I have even had to write down the name of it for my friends. I am so glad I tried this product its a winner for sure

Tasted great, but not easy to work with.
More crumbly than the other two colors I purchased, and broke easily. Tasted better than Wilton, by far, but didn’t perform well. Did not live up to expectations. I use fondant often, but this did not remain soft and smooth while working with it. Was difficult to use, but tasted quite good. Like a tootsie roll.
