Honda WH15 High Pressure Centrifugal Pump, 1.5"

Out of the box put oil in started third pull. Can't be better than that. Shipped to my house in less than a week. Great service.

This is a great pump, but beware... the packaging was insufficient as the unit arrived with the baseplate bent. I was able to straighten it, but more/ better padding by the shipper would have mitigated this.

Bought two pumps to use on the 15,000 gal fire tank I just installedat the house . Both pumps started on the first pull right out of the box !!!!Lots of pressure. Hooked up 1.5" fire hose and a fire nozzleand needed two hands to hold on !!

Great little pump, but cannot be returned if buyer changes mind. Still had unit in the box and determined it was too power for the application. Contacted seller and they denied the return. Seller needs to change policy on website about returning items. Very disappointing.

I have used a number of these over the years. They work great and are reliable.The newest purchased has very poor quality top (fill) and bottom (drain) plastic plugs on the water pump (not the engine component). They have very coarse threads compared to the previous design. They are hard to find the threads to insert and require significant torque to thread in or out continuously; they are an interference fit. The good, previous design just had to be broken loose and then it threaded out all the way with minimal force. I had an old WH15 pump with a worn-out engine that I had saved in case anything was needed. The plugs were so hard to operate that I swapped out the old housing onto the new pump.

Pump was attached to a big gun sprinkler, ran great for ten minutes, shut it down to adjust sprinkler, would not start again. Until this, I thought Honda engines were the best. Would not buy again
