TEX STAR H-188 6-Ply Bias Trailer Tire - 205/75D15

I purchased a 16 foot pipe top trailer with these tires on it several years ago. I let the trailer sit out in the sun with very little use (worked on the road). After sitting in the direct sun light for years the tires still looked to be in pretty good shape. The tread was obviously still in great shape but the sidewalls looked good and there were no obvious signs of dry rot. I have hauled a lot of stuff on these tires since I actually started using the trailer over the past couple of years. Trucks, tractors, welding machines, furniture, etc. They've held up and I haven't had a blow yet. The tires are now almost 7 years old and I'm getting ready to replace them. I haul my tractor more and more on it now and I just want the piece of mind of new tires. I will purchase this exact tire if I can find it.

I recently bought a car hauler with 4 of these tires on it. I hauled the trailer 40 miles to my house, I checked the tire pressure, they were at 30 psi. I started airing them up and found that at 40 psi the side walls started to open up and the tread started to separate from the tire. I can only imagine what would happen if I took it to 50 psi which is what is suppose to be in them.
