Superman Action Comics 2: To Hell and Back

Does NOT Include the Complete Issues, Only Backup Stories
All of the online product information I could find for this collection (including DC Comics' own website) said that the following issues would be collected in this volume: Action Comics 1057-1059, Action Comics Presents Doomsday Special, and Action Comics Knight Terrors 1-2. This is WRONG. This volume only collects the backup stories from Action Comics 1057-1059, and DOES NOT INCLUDE the main story from those issues. Apparently, that main storyline will be collected in Volume 3...which comes out in February. I switched to buying trades of Action a couple years ago, and thought this would include full issues as stated, as all of the previous collections have. Including only the backup stories, without mentioning this fact even on the back of the book, is a dirty trick by DC Comics to get more money by dividing the books into two volumes, and they aren't the least bit honest about it on their own website. I haven't even bothered to read this book now, because it isn't what it's supposed to be. I wish I had just bought the single issues instead. So, if you want the complete issues of Action 1057-1059, skip this, because they aren't here!

Love Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s work
PKJ gets Superman and the follow up to his war world saga is excellent.

Meet the Supers
It's a very disappointing book. The best thing about this book is the front cover and the last two issues in the book. Each issue/chapter concentrates on a different member of the super family.Doomsday special #1. Supergirl has been having dreams about Doomsday. Now, with the help of Martian Manhunter, she tries to confront her dreams but dragged into a nightmare. Trapped in hell?Action Comics #1057. Kenan. How does he join the Super family, and why did he come to America? Conner Kent's teenage rebellion.Action Comics #1058. The Super Twins are taken to their first earth parade. What can go wrong?Action Comics #1059. Jon Kent is babysitting and trying to save his relationship with Jay as both of them have busy schedules.Knight Terrors Action Comics #1 & 2. These are the best of the book. They could not save the book for me as I already read Knight Terrors. The Super Twins nightmare comes true.
