These fit true to size and are very nice! My 5 year old was the Homecoming crown bearer and I thought they looked great!

This is the type of shoe you buy for a growing kid when they need it for a wedding or a holiday.This shoe is not suitable for daily use for schools. The bottom is plastic, which will slid (not grip) and wear down quickly, especially with an active boy. I knew the price was good, but this is the example of something you will just spend more money replacing over time. HOWEVER, it you just need it for one day for something like a wedding or a holiday service, they look decent enough for a wearing, but not super comfortable.

I was planning to go up one size so that my son would have room to grow. Based on product reviews, I ordered 1 size smaller. They fit like I wanted them to, with a little room to grow. My son loves them and says they are comfortable. They look fantastic and you can't beat the price!

This pair of Deer Stag looks fine when it arrived; a little plasticky in a way, but seems fairly well made, especially considering the extremely low price. I usually wear Florsheims which are close to at least double, if not triple the price. Overall, these shoes serve the purpose of walking shoes, but I had to change out the non-existence insole with one that has arch support. I am wearing these as an adult (wearing size 5, at under 130 lb), though, so keep that in mind.The sad part is that, based on the order date, both shoes' soles have already split at month 4. Mind you, these are not my daily wear (I alternate between three pairs of shoes), and you should see in the photo that the split ran the whole width of the shoe. I have not had this happen with the Florsheims, and again, based on order date, all of my Florsheims lasted about a year. I had to retire those only when I wore through the soles.In short, for the price, these are fine occasional shoes, but not made to last. For about double the price, the Florsheims would last about four times longer and look a lot more expensive.

I bought these to be worn with the tux I purchased. Very happy. My son usually wears a four. I have been buying his new shoes in a 5 so he can grow into them. I ordered these in a 5. They were huge. I had to order another pair in a 4 1/2. They were perfect. I will keep the 5 for later. He will grow into them. My husband said Deer Stags are a quality men’s brand of shoe. I did not know this, as I usually do not buy men’s shoes. Glad to know. The price was great. I am an Amazon lover!

I needed a shoe for my son for a band concert and these fit the bill perfectly. He says they're comfortable and they look nice. The fit well from the outset and, while he's only worn them a few times, they look like they'll hold up.

Exactly what I expected for the price -- well made, but stiff. Still, we needed a quick replacement of dress shoes for our son for a fall wedding. We couldn't find his size in a price I was willing to pay at the local shops. I knew changes were he wouldn't wear them many times, so I took a chance and ordered them online. They were a little large, but we doubled up the socks and they worked! Who knows, maybe he'll have another chance to wear them again!

I bought these for my rambunctious, super active 4-year-old son. Seeing as he is constantly getting dirty, running into puddles, scuffing shoes, etc., I didn't want to break the bank on dress shoes. I found these and decided that for the price, I could afford to take a chance. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! These are surprisingly great quality, not slippery on a variety of surfaces, and look GREAT! I would definitely purchase again!
