Training Mat for Indoor Bike Trainers

These were exactly what they say you want. I have very plush carpeting and I was hoping these would be thick enough under my trainer to steady my bike while working out. They did the trick perfectly. Protected my carpet again the trainer/step the front wheel sits on and kept the sweat off of it. Easy to wipe down and rolls up nicely to store in the box they came in.

It's our 3rd mat. We have placed them in all our entry doors. It's perfect size and very sturdy. Highly recommend.

Its a good mat. It doesn't slip, gives a bit of padding without being squishy, and is the right size for biking. It also works well over short carpet for crunches, etc. Rolls up tight with a tie or the original box to fit under a sofa.

Using this mat with my CycleOps H2 trainer and Felt B14 TT bike. Fits the setup perfect, but no spare length. The mat is thin, rubbery, and pliable–not soft or spongy like a yoga mat. The mat is akin to mats used in offices / desks for rolling chairs, but more rubbery and bendable. Because it is not soft and spongey, the mat holds up very well when being stepped on / walked over with cycling cleats. A lot of the softer mats tend to rip and tear when walked on with bike shoes–this one will not.I'm using the mat over carpet and because the mat is so thin and rubbery, I'm required to shim the legs of my trainer with cardboard. The mat does not support the weight of the trainer / rider on carpet, and the cardboard shims under the legs of the trainer is needed to keep the bike balanced. This doesn't bother me, just a tip if you're using on carpet and know what to expect in regard to the mat's thickness.Overall, I'm happy with it. Serves its purpose and I expect it to hold up for many years.

Our basement was newly carpeted and I didn't want to damage it when using my trainer. This works great and doesn't bunch up on the carpet - which is nice. You can, very carefully, move the entire mat with the trainer and bike - you just have to watch what you are doing. The mat seemed expensive, but has been worth it to protect the carpet.

Are used to use a yoga mat underneath my bike trainer. This mat is so much more durable. I love it! Easy to clean too!

The CycleOps mat arrived at my door in no time with Prime shipping. When I took the mat out of the box though the sticker peeled off so now it is just a blank mat. It seems to absorb vibration but my CycleOps trainer makes more noise and it is the Fluid 2. The mat also is a little short so the front wheel is barely on the mat.

I do hours-long workouts with massive sweat puddles. I never clean this mat, just let it all evaporate. The mat is 100% odor free. Love it.

Let's face it, you ride indoors, you generate heat regardless of the number of fans you run. So unless you want your floors, carpets, etc to be a big, wet, salty mess, you need a training mat. I bought the saris, as I have a Saris Hammer 3 Smart Trainer and so they look all matchey matchey :). But seriously, this is a good mat. Thick, easy to clean, stops my bike & trainer from "walking" across the room. All in all very satisfied. And yes, my pain cave floor isn't a big, wet, salty mess!!

Good quality mat which quietens the noise of trainer

Great quality mat, nice and thick and does what it suppose to. I've made a strap to go round the mat when it's rolled up, other than that it gets top marks from me

This is my second mat of the same brand. The only reason I had to replace my first one was because my cats got at it one day and they tore a hole in it. Good quality. One point of note, the dimensions are wrong on the Amazon add. It is longer. For the right dimensions, check the Cycleops website.
