Mantua Arcadia Headboard (Full/Queen, Gloss White)

We needed a white, glossy headboard to finish the update on the bed in our guest room. Because it was so inexpensive, I was skeptical about how this one would look in person but was happily surprised. The glossy white finish looks very nice and matches our two nightstands perfectly. Also, kudos to the sellers who got it to us a couple of days sooner than promised! I would buy it again.

I was a little worried about buying this because of some negative reviews about damage but the headboard can in perfect condition. It was very simple to put together and attach to the bed frame.

We received the headboard quickly and it seemed to be packaged very well. When we opened it, we noticed it was a heavy, solid headboard. Upon installation though we noticed a few superficial blemishes in the paint. We thought about sending it back for a replacement but finally decided the blemishes were subtle enough that it wasn't worth the trouble and effort. So we are using it with our new bed.Aside from the minor paint issues, it seems to be a solid, quality piece of furniture.

Nice head board

The headboard was true to the description and the parts were nicely finished for the price.The sideboards that attach to the bedframe are secured to the bedboard by camlocks that tighten three steel pins that are threaded on the other end and screw into nuts embedded the center bedboard.Unfortunately one of the pins was defective and the head broke off. To strengthen the assembly, I put construction adhesive on the two dowels that locate the sideboards to the center bedboard. I tightened the two remaining camlocks and left the assembly dry overnight. The sideboard appears solid.My two recommendations are:1. Put an extra pin in the hardware package in case one fails.2. Omit the "scredriver" from the hardware package - it really does not work very well, and most people have access to a screwdriver.

Nice quality, but couldn’t really tell how short it was going to be. Can barely see it if you have pillows propped up on your bed. Our fault but still wish it’d been easier to tell. Especially now with mattresses getting fatter and fatter!
