This stuff looks like junk when you first spray it on, but once it dries and it’s painted it’ll look like you never made a repair

Not as advertised. It's recommended to shake the can for a minute after the ball starts clanging....which I did. Then on a sample board I sprayed as directed. 20-30"s away. It came out in a messy shard like pattern. Absolutely not compatible with a popcorn ceiling. Plus very messy to use because it's real difficult to control the spray. I'm a professional painter of over 25 years. This is extremely expensive, no refund...just an unusable mess. -10 stars.

Yes, you need to wipe the applicator between sprays and can get a little finicky per the other reviews, but once you get the setting you want just so, it can be amazing to cover flawed walls and patch areas. After my first go-round about 5 years ago with it, I realized it looks much better if you just spray the entire wall around it. I was just spraying the patches and it never really blended well, but now I know better.

I was thrilled with how this covered my ceiling repair. I thought the product was easy to use. I did test it out on a spare piece prior to applying to the ceiling which helped to understand how fast the spray was coming out and how far away I needed to hold the can away from the ceiling .

It is strongly recommended that you cover all surfaces within a 10-foot radius, as well as yourself, with plastic sheeting prior to using this product. Despite following the instructions and shaking the can vigorously, the product malfunctioned and sprayed texture onto myself, the floor, and the countertops.The nozzle repeatedly clogged, requiring constant cleaning, and the spray pattern was inconsistent, with most of the texture failing to reach the ceiling. After the fifth cleaning attempt, the trigger became stuck, causing the product to spray uncontrollably until i tossed it in the trash can to empty itself.I regret not using the non-traditional method of dipping a plastic shopping bag with a towel inside, in the texture, which would have been more effective and less messy.Based on this experience, I will not purchase this product again.

Worked well for what I needed it for. Practice and some videos make for perfection.

I purchased 3 of this in the same week. 2 had defect and only one worked.Amazon doesn’t take return request for this item but directs to contact the manufacture.Fortunately, another defected item was purchased from a local DIY store, who could refund right away.Usually I love Amazon shopping experience. But for this specific product with high defect ratio, I’d recommend to buy from local store whose exchange/return process is easy.

It was very easy to use, but it seemed to spread farther than I thought it would and required more cleanup than I expected. The end result was magnificent as far as appearance.
