This hedge trimmer attachment works on my ryobi power head and cuts a very nice line or shape to all our small bushes. It doesn’t like the larger thickness of some branches. But we run a landscaping company and we got this to replace the ryobi attachment for small bushes and it works great. We put it on the carbon fiber power head so with both power head and attachment it runs nice and light. Adjusts easy and we like the grease fittings so we can grease it on a regular basis.

I have been electric-trimming my daughter's shrubs/hedges for years, using two, long extension cords, and an 8 foot stepladder. With this trimmer-head attachment, I did the same job with a 2 foot step-stool, and no cords. This Viyuki attachment seems solid, well built, and worked fine.Pros:1. No electric cords needed (don't have to worry about tangles or cutting them).2. Less high-up ladder-work (don't have to worry as much about falling).3. More power (my gas string trimmer has more power than my electric hedge trimmer).4. Tilt head (double-latch is safe, and easy to adjust blade angle one-handed; different angles alloweasier high-corner / top trims.Cons:1. Heavier than electric trimmer.2. Unwieldy in tight areas.Tips:1. Use 2 handed, one hand on trimmer throttle-grip, one hand on trimmer shaft for control.2. Use a shortened shoulder-strap, to help support unit while using.3. I attached the shoulder strap to the trimmer shaft with a carabiner through a 1/2 inch strap loop, passed around the trimmer shaft in a "cow-hitch" fashion. This allows the trimmer easily to be rotated 180 degrees, and still be supported by the shoulder-strap.4. I greased the head (zirc fitting) with 5-6 shots of grease before using... gear-box did not seem to over heat.5. My trimmer is a Craftsman 2400, 27cc. 2-stroke. The drive coupling is square, and I taped it at about 3/16 inch (.19). The Viyuki attachment drive is listed as .2 inch, and it works fine.

It’s a little heavy to balance with the trimmer and it’s shorter than the last type I used and was expecting but does a good job

Surprised how well this worked and how sharp the blades are.Be sure to oil them frequently.... Other similar models are around $200.So i'm thrilled to get this and have it perform so well.Great purchase, go for it 👍

This is a well built, easy to use tool. I use it on an electric Ryobi 1trimmer . Unit comes with grease fittings and an easy to reposition head. I actually look forward to trimming my hedges now..

Cut the new growth on one bush and attachment cracked. Don't waste your money.
