Needs longer pause times between watering
Easy to install and works. Only problem I see is I think it should stop the sprinkler longer as I set it on the lowest rainfall setting and closed it up for the longest non-water time. After one day or two if rain is close to set time of watering pause, Sprinkler is back up and watering again?

Exterior installation - wired back into your Sprinkler controller. Good documentation.
Wired into your sprinkler valves "common" lead. Interrupts power to your sprinkler valves during - after a rain event.Comes with adapters to install in various locations. I placed on a PVC elbow to locate detector out side my roof overhang.

Just what I needed to complete my sprinkler system
Super easy to install and set up. I mounted mine on the top Of my wooden privacy fence. Its adjustable for amount of rainfall.. I installed mine on a Hunter sprinkler timer.. no more overwatering my lawn when it rains or has rained in the past few days.. highly teccomend this product.

Works as advertised
I am a Home Automation dealer/installer/programmer. I added this sensor to my own home's pretty elaborate automation system as a means to prevent the system from adding water to the swimming pool when it rains. Works like a charm (but had to add a small relay to invert the sensor's "Normally Closed = Dry" operation...no big deal). As for the sensor itself, its construction is decent, and it's very simple to adjust how much rain it takes to trip the sensor. It also has an adjustment that affects how long it takes for the sensor to dry out (and reset) after the rain stops. All in all, I'm very happy with this sensor. I'm pretty certain it would work well for its intended use with a landscape irrigation controller.

My old rain sensor died after 10 years. This rain sensor worked fine. Price was reasonable. Fast delivery.

Works great with Rachio 3rd gen
Does the job, easy to install and adjust, and simple to connect to Rachio 3. I love seeing notifications in the app that the rain sensor stopped irrigation, and I can see when it dries out and irrigation can resume.
