2PCS Fan Clutch Wrench Set for Use with Ford Vehicles

As a welder, the welds looks okay. One complete bead around the entire adapter end and air hammer end. Appears heavy duty and durable to use without additional welding first. I’m really happy the sizes of the wrench attachments are clearly etched visibly. I’m also glad the box is blue, because most my other cases are red and it becomes hard to tell what’s in what case while stored and trying to grab the right tool case. Amazon and this seller offered this set free overnight prime shipping. I needed it asap and it was delivered on time at 4:30am. I nearly sacrificed a day to wait on the shipping of another set had pictures of the wrench sizes very legibly marked. If I needed to add some weld to this one it still would’ve been worth it to me, but seems unnecessary. I’ll use PB Blaster on fan clutch nut. The fan clutch nuts are usually left hand threaded, so I’m wondering if this tool was used to take fans off in the wrong direction in the past, causing welds to fail, or maybe the manufacturer increased their process since then.I’ve been using my air hammer a lot lately. I didn’t realize how valuable of a tool it was until I found myself using it more and more. Even upgraded it with a quick release adapter for $4. That’ll be nice for this tool. I put off getting a fan clutch set and now that I have the air hammer, I’m glad I waited. No more last minute trips to parts store to borrow theirs. I always dreaded having to do that and especially going back again just to return it for my money back. Everything here snaps into place and is removed super easily. Easy to use, no brainer fan clutch removal, and no more struggling.

Unfortunately I didn’t end up using it until it was too late to return. First time I used it the welds at both ends of the hammer bar broke. It still functions fortunately because the piece was slip jointed before being welded, but the bar is now in 3 pieces, making it a PITA to use. Maybe it would’ve been fine with a cheap weak air hammer on a small 4yr but it’s certainly not built to handle the power of a quality IR Air Hammer on a 6.0 Powerstroke fan clutch.

This is a nice compact kit compared to the GearWrench kit I have used. Should be easier to take around on jobs

only half of these tools will fit a f 250 .the 36 mm wrench will not fit any f 250-350 or any other ford pk up. Good thing i had a 1 7/8 wrench for the fan clutch or i would have given it a neg 5.

More than I needed but sooooo many extras.
