Quietly turns down the chaos in your brain
I’ve been using Nutricost Ashwagandha for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of those supplements that quietly does its job without a ton of drama… like the chill friend who fixes your life without announcing it. First off, the value is chef’s kiss. You get a solid dosage (mine is 600 mg capsules) at a price that doesn’t make your wallet cry. No weird fillers, no sketchy aftertaste, and the capsules are easy enough to swallow, which—let’s be real—matters. As for how it actually feels? It’s not a “whoa I’m a new woman overnight” situation. It’s more like the volume knob on your stress slowly gets turned down a few clicks. I noticed I felt a bit more even-keeled during the day and less mentally fried by the time evening hits. Sleep also seemed a little deeper, like my brain finally stopped running its late-night anxiety podcast. What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t make me feel foggy or sedated. Some “calming” supplements knock you out like a tranquilized raccoon—this one just takes the edge off without stealing your personality. Only downside? Like most herbal supplements, it takes consistency. You can’t pop one capsule during a meltdown and expect enlightenment. Give it a couple of weeks to really notice the difference. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, no-nonsense ashwagandha that actually supports stress and mood without weird side effects, this one’s a solid pick. It’s not magic… but it’s definitely helpful—and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

VERY NICE, and I LOVE that's it's an HERBAL Remedy ♥
This herbal remedy was mentioned to me by a home caregiver whose husband takes it, and I have LOVED it. It's very effective as a sleep remedy. It makes me dream, but we ALL need that REM sleep and these dreams are hardly ever nightmares. Ashwagandha is non-GMO, Vegetarian and whatever else it says it is, LOL, but I intend to keep taking it until I die, and I'm 79 and counting.

Can definitely tell the difference. Well worth the money.
I began taking ashwagandha because it is proven to help reduce stress and anxiety by working on cortisol levels and it's ability to help with depression and inflammation. I definitely feel more calm now that I've been taking it. However, it makes me sleepy. I first took it in the morning but couldn't stay awake. I then moved it to bedtime but I wake up still sleepy. So I moved it to after dinner (around 8ish) and that worked for me. Not every one gets sleepy though so you will have to find the right time to take it that works for you. Also, this brand has been ranked as one of the top brands for ashwaganda.

Good run for the bang
The Nutricost Ashwagandha supplement offers a straightforward, no-frills option for those looking to add this herb to their daily routine. The capsules are easy to swallow, clearly labeled, and the bottle provides a generous supply, which makes it convenient for longer-term use. I appreciate that the product is vegetarian and free from unnecessary additives, as well as clearly dosed at 600 mg per serving. After consistent use, I noticed mild but positive effects in terms of overall calmness and stress management, particularly during busy or mentally demanding days. The effects were subtle rather than dramatic, which may be preferable for users who want something gentle rather than stimulating or sedating. I did not experience any negative side effects, stomach discomfort, or issues when taking it as directed. That said, results may vary depending on individual sensitivity and expectations. This supplement seems best suited for people looking for gradual, supportive benefits rather than immediate or highly noticeable changes. Overall, Nutricost delivers a solid, reliable ashwagandha product at a reasonable value, earning four stars for quality, consistency, and ease of use, with the understanding that effects are modest and require regular use over time.

Effective for me
For awhile I was using this daily. It kind of made me "numb", which I know is common. However, for me it's a good thing. But I heard it's not good for your liver, so now I only take it if I KNOW itll be a stressful day or if I've had a stressful day. I like Nutricost and haven't had any issues with their products in terms of quality, cause it seems effective. I know it did something, cause it also improves my mood. They do have a subtle herbal vitamin taste, but thats too be expected. I usually don't get energy from it, but it calms me down, but doesnt SLOW me down.

Anxiety/anger
Got my husband this and he is one that doesn’t believe in anxiety/depression meds. After a few weeks of him taking it I noticed his mood and ambition increase tremendously. He also says he has felt less down and angry.

Before this I was taking Time Health ashwagandha for about 6 months and it was great but seems like the last two months it changed could me having a tolerance or a bad batch from them. I took these ones and my god it’s so much better for stress and anxiety I work in retail in brum, and have to deal with many customers with stressful situations. Taking nutricost turns extremely stressful situations into slightly stressful situations, there’s still stress but the ashwagandha help to alleviate 70% of it. Extremely worth it. One major thing that has absolutely saved me is that on the way to work my stomach is turning even if I’ve been to the toilet before for leaving to go, I had this for two months making me stressed about the bathroom I was thinking this ashwagandha caused it I was taking two capsules after breakfast but then I tried taking two before breakfast and PROBLEM SOLVED. My stomach had zero anxiety and made getting to work so much easier and pain free. If you don’t have issues with your stomach I’d recommend taking two 600mg capsules after breakfast as the ashwagandha takes effect when you get to work and last longer depending on your shift (I’m not a doctor so do what you want). Taking before breakfast at 9:30am makes it the effects last till about 3:30-4pm. I’ve been taking ashwagandha for nearly 3 years now and tried 30-40 different supplements for everything, but of all of them ashwagandha is number #1 lions mane #2, this brand is great I will try another but most likely I’ll end up back on this one. HOPE THIS HELPED ANYONE INTERESTED, like this review is has gave you insight as it’ll help others to see my story with this amazing supplement

using it to lower cortisol levels due to anxiety, definitely feeling an ambient change. it's not something transient that "hits you", but its effects definitely build up and calm you down.
