Slim Sleeve (Slim Bifold Wallet), Hazelnut

Perfect small wallet this Slim Sleeve! Last bill fold I used was the Bellroy Travel Wallet which I stopped using because of covid cashless life. It was worn too after a good 5 years of left front pocket with phone. Got a new Travel Wallet, but because of covid, the cash went out en receipts to keep went rare. Cards went in the phone. Still need some cards sometimes, but no longer the large and sadly new and unused Travel Wallet. Onto something tiny. Much metal options, but those are not flexible and hard in the pocket. So Bellroy again, cause of the sleeve selection. The smaller the better, but some room for folded cash must be there. Choose this card sleeve because it could hold Euro bills folded once at 80mm, the €50 bill being 70mm when folded. The actual sleeve I got is however a good 5mm smaller than 80mm as advertised, being only 75 mm and thus awkwardly close to the card sleeve and other models. This makes a stack of Euros folded pushing the folding back but folded Euros up to 50's will work. If I had known the smaller size, I might have gotten the card holder. This but this Slim Sleeve comes in Nylon so that I never have to worry about the wallet getting wet, from splashes or sweat that untimely killed my travel wallet. This is a personal issue, but a large travel wallets leather surface retains sweattiness. Very happy that Bellroy now carries the nylon. First Travel Wallet did last about 5 years to being worn. That was leather and vulnerable to moisture. This is Nylon so it could handle that much better. Let’s see in 10 years of pocket endurance, will it make it?

Compact and good design but materials and craftsmanship don’t match the price tag. I’ve seen alternatives for less than half the price which felt better built.

Holds 12 cards and easy to get to any card. Fits very well in any pocket.

First of all I've been a bellroy fan, having a 10 year old Bellroy Note sleeve as my daily wallet I can speak to its quality, design and longevity. I tried to go even slimmer and ordered this slim sleeve wallet. Dimension wise it is about 3/4 the footprint of Note sleeve. I was hoping it would be slimmer or at least same thickness as the note sleeve I have. I think this would be achievable if you can bifold the notes and you carry no more than 5-6 notes. However, while you can bifold the American notes and fit them in the wallet this won't work for the larger Canadian notes. You have to trifold them thus making the wallet pretty thick if you carry notes. And that's when I realize if I have to trifold the notes, I am actually better off using the bellroy card sleeve. It's just as thick as the card sleeve, but its footprint is even smaller. It feels much slimmer in the front pocket. It's a bit of a bummer to return this wallet you have to pay for return shipping yourself, even though the return address is only in Burlington. I was hoping bellroy would pay for return shipping especially when I'm buying another bellroy wallet instead. Nevertheless I found the perfect wallet I want in bellroy card sleeve so Im happy
